No search results were found in Documentation!
Hello! After moving my site from teo-dark.com to teen-spirit.ru some troubles with newspaper showed up. All settings became default (layout settings, background settings, even custom css codes). In the database I swapped all old url to new url (crtl+H teo-dark.com -> teen-spirit.ru in the notepad++) and just copied all website files without changing.
Can I restore my custom newspaper setting or should I fill all fields again?

I did fix it, but now i have a different problem.
The reason i had custom css that hide all span4 is because on an RTL site, the sidebar appeared above the post content on mobile devices, so your solution (i saw it on another thread) was that custom css to hide all span4.
Now the recent posts apear on the Home Page, but the sidebar is showing as well.
Is there a way around this?

I think if Newspaper will not support RTL this will make Hackers and bad people to use the theme and make it by them self ! like what happened to Newsmag < it’s not support RTL from the beginning > so see what happend :

Because if there is any new update in WordPress like after 6 months or more , so you will have many problem in compatible with other version of your theme , and the main agreement in themeforest.net to have free update and to all users to make your theme out of risk and Compatibility issue or your business will be in danger .
SO if the tagdiv continue supporting RTL I will still on this theme because I love it and i think this is more powerfull than AVADA .
Sorry i wish tagdiv continue supporting RTL this is my hope .

The current version supports RTL, which you have right now and is what you purchased.
A new version of theme from ground up doesn’t require any features to be carried over, nor are you obligated to use a new version of theme. When Ford comes out with a new car and adds a different engine, your existing car doesn’t get the new engine, nor are you obligated to stop using the car you have.
“Unfair and illegal” activity is a ridiculous statement.
Just an opinion.
The agreement before buying the theme was to support RTL feature not doing that is a violation of that agreement ..
And we demand a refund of our money back to us because of that violation .. or continue supporting RTL
which will make our business in danger also it will make us very unhappy about unfair service and that Illegal activity.
So we will ask you for full refund , and we will sorry for that -_-

Please also consider that unfortunately we recently have decided that starting with the next theme update we will not include rtl support within the theme. You can still use the theme as it is but unfortunately you cannot updated it as you will lose the rtl support or you can update it and make yourself the necessary adjustments needed.

The grid will be changed and with it the whole css, from the code perspective it will practically be a new theme and unfortunately we don’t plan to add RTL support on v.5, sorry for this. There are a lot of elements and we had to take this decision because we don’t have too many RTL customers.

When you updated the theme did you do it via FTP? If you did, it wont work properly.
As Chris suggested, you need to do the update as per his guide, even if you didn’t do it by FTP it’s worth going through it again just to be sure.
Add a new theme (any) to act as a temporary
Delete the old theme in wordpress back end
Delete the VC and social counter plugins
Clear all caches including browser
Disable all the other plugins
Reload the theme via wordpress uploader and activate
Upload the plugins manually from the theme download file not from the on screen message in the plugin page
Activate all plugins
Test again
If that doesn’t do it go back to the wp_booster/td_video_support.php file and check very carefully that you got all the http URL’s some are easy to miss. Chris had said don’t do the youtube shortlinks but I’ve done em all and it works still so I’m kinda hoping it hangs together for a minute.
In your post, don’t forget to tick “video” in format and select style 8 from the post templates, I use the full URL from youtube and enter it into the sidebar
If you are adding the video player block to the page you will have to fill in all of the fields and add a video to it for it to show correctly on the page, you don’t add the full URL though just the series of letters and numbers at the end part of the URL
If all of that fails you probably need to go to your hosting provider and ask them to add a php.ini file and switch on allow_url_fopen = on
After a whole day of trying to find out what was wrong I went back to the server people and asked them if the allow_url_fopen was set to on and he came back with this
“I placed some code in your public_html folders .htaccess file to make the php.ini file work”

So it was in fact the server that was the problem but also the theme should shoulder part of the blame as it’s not configured for SSL and that isn’t made apparent when you buy the theme, I’d also like to add that while TagDiv support and Chris who I understand doesn’t work for TagDiv are very helpful none of the solutions to these basic problems are presented in a coherent way.
Searching several thousand questions on a forum isn’t the best bet because some of this stuff needs to really be done in an organised fashion. More documentation is probably needed and to be fair I will probably put something together to add to the forum just for people who are stuck with configuration and SSL issues but I’m no expert so could end up doing more harm than good?
Anyway, all is working so that at least one satisfied customer.

Yes, you are right the rtl support will be removed in next version, however this issue doesn’t concerns just rtl users and the option to set the sidebar on the left will not be removed.
Unfortunately we can’t make an update for this but I’ll let you know when we have a fox for this.

1-2-4-5 Unfortunately there is no option to do this, smartlist overwrite image settings and for the moment is not possible. We plan to add a new format for the smart lists in a future update and to have more control to the smartlist, but I cannot say when it’s going to be implemented, we have a lot of features on the list and we have to take them in the order of priority.
3. Smartlist 2 and 4 were designed to use font size 12px, so you will need to use custom css for them. Sorry for inconveniece!

I’m not sure if this will work though as it seems it hasn’t been updated from more that 2 years.
I suggest you also try to find a solution for this online as I’m not sure how you could do that or if you could.
