We are solving with the development of a specific function for sharing (we will put utm parameters in generated links for tracking).
Also, we realize that the generation of Newsmag sharing icons renders long after the page has been rendered, and let’s test if there is any performance improvement with our own function.
Until then, we are using a small css hack to get the icons working … Not in proportion, but for now they work …

I also had the same problem. I was told that I did not have data source, that is why the images do not appear on social sharing. In order to fix that, yoast seo plugin was installed -> https://kb.yoast.com/kb/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/
After installing yoast seo also, you need to set featured images of less than 300kb, for the image to show in the social sharing of Whatsapp. You could use Photoshop or any plugin to optimize images. Else, you could use this online website to optimize images -> http://www.resizeimage.4u2ges.com/ .

Hello i have a big problem with social media sharing buttons. They are missing from this list: https://prnt.sc/q4z05d and thats why they does not show up on the posts. Only network thats there is “naver”.
How i can add facebook, twitter, whatapp etc in there? Pls answer asap.

Unfortunately there is no option to add more share buttons, sorry! this can be achieve only with plugins. Hi. I noticed that Newspaper Theme provided a variety of social features, which is pretty great. However, I wonder if I can add more social sharing buttons other than Facebook. For example, I want to make a sharing button for Douban or Weibo, some Chinese social network websites, and I know their icon and links to embed. How can I achieve this goal? If Newspaper cannot meet my request, can you recommend some other plugins compatible with the theme. Looking forward to your reply.

All I can do is to show the files where the code for share is set.
For default share -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_social_sharing.php
And for cloud the file is wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_post_share.php
Unfortunately the implementation you’ll need to do it yourself or to check the custom services from here.

When I go to Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Post Settings -> Sharing -> Social Networks
I only have the option of sharing to “Naver” I’ve seen tutorials where people have the option of Twitter, Pinterest, etc. How can I get this?

I use Life News Pro demo in Newspaper and it’s great.
However, when I share articles on Facebook using sharing button within Life News Pro.
It’s showing featured image when the sharing window pops up, but when publish on Facebook, it’s not showing featured image.
I check with Facebook’s Sharing Debugger tool (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/), it’s showing warnings:
+ Inferred Property: The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
+ Missing Properties: The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

A few things…
1) I can’t seem to access the Cloud Templates. I get an error message saying “invalid reply from server endpoint”

Theme and plugins are all updated, including new tagDiv Standard Pack.
2) Before the update, the Cloud Templates were there – but the post template sidebar didn’t work properly – it sat the sidebar at the end of the page, after the post. Not sure if this has something to do with me setting row to stretched 1200px. Was hoping the update would fix this issue so I could create my own post templates, but now it doesn’t work at all.
3) Can you universally set the width somewhere in the theme panel ie my home page is 1200px, but because I can’t get the Cloud Templates working, I’ve been using your default post template, which is set narrower. Thanks!
4) Lastly, is it possible to put a 1pt keyline around adverts somehow? I tried doing it in the widgetised sidebar widget using the CSS tab but it didn’t work (seems to work with image widgets).
This is what I want to achieve (I’ve done this using the image widget, not widgetised sidebar).

Just installed newspaper 10.0 on WP 5.3 ande applied the patch_10_10.1
Laragon development, local website with roughly 2K articles with corrrects tags & categories.
Enabled the “Related Articles box” in Post Settings -> Related Article
Unfortunately, no box shows up…
P.S: this issues comes along /w another related to missing social networks items in Post Settings -> Sharing (only the naver icons shows up)
Please can you help me? All of this happens when installing from scartch and not during a them update.

I’m setting up my website locally, but when configuring social sharing i can only see the naver opion: all the other socials have just disappeared.
I have enabled post sharing options from the newspaper theme panel but it is not visible on any post. I am not using any cache plugin.
