Yes, the inline ad is not valid for every post. If you have a smart list for instance, it will ignore all the post ads. It will only work with smartlist ads.

You should check our demo and there you will see how one should look smarlist 1, like this -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/smart-list-style-1/7/ You will bring this layout for smartlist 1 if you will set this feature according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/ Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Notice that the smartlist is too sensible feature and it is possible that some untested plugins to interact with the code and cause a lot of unknown issues.

Unfortunately not all smart lists have ad spots. In smartlist 2 for instance you can only place an ad with custom code added to the theme file directly. You can use a do_shortcode function like in this example: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/smart-list-top-ad-bottom-for-featured-image/

Each smart list counts the page views. But only 1 page view will be generated when first accessed. They will not change on each slide.

You can disable the lightbox by disabling the general modal image but unfortunately there is no simple way of removing the lightbox accross the whole site. galleries and smart lists will still use it.
If you want to remove it for all elements, then yopu will have to find all instances of the magnific popup functions in the theme js file like so: http://screencast.com/t/iamVcHLE9W8m This is the one for galleries but there is a similar one for articles, for smartlists etc.

You did not mention this but when using a smart list, the alignment does not work anymore no matter the image size. You should have mentioned you use a smart list from the start. A smart list in totally different from a normal post. A smart list will ignore the wp settings. A smart list will even ignore the wordpress thumbnails and provide the image as big as the container ignoring the thumb size you add from the media library of WP.
Smart lists have a predefined style and it cannot be altered from the wp mce editor. You will also notice that images will not even keep their position. If you add an image to the bottom of a list item for example, some smart lists will move the image to the top considering it as a sort of “featured image” for the list item.
This is the way the smart lists were created. They are not usual posts.
If you still want to alter the style and align the images right you should wrap your images inside a div container like for example :

<div class="smartlist_image"> place your image code here </div>

Then you can add this code in the them panel->custom css code:

.smartlist_image{
float:right;
}

The you simply need to wrap all your images from the smartlist content inside the div element and your images will align to the right.

The hover color is added by the theme accent color.
Again. if you want another ad, the theme ad spots cannot offer only 1 spot. You will have to add them in the theme code by using a do_shortcode function

We have a list of the tested plugins beside the ones provided with the theme and for each theme release we consider this and make the necessarily modifications for the theme to support theme.

Smart lists will igonre inline ads as smart lists have a different implementation than normal posts. Smartlists have their own ads.
Here is an example from a different topic regarding smart list 6:

Smart lists have a specific ad spot in the theme panel but the smart list 6 ad will not position below the pagination. If you want it to show below the pagination, you will have to edit the theme files to do it as there is no option in the theme for it. You can use this code :

And place it like so: http://screencast.com/t/zvRezg4R8rva Then your ad from ‘custom ad 1’ spot will show below the pagination. Unfortunately this will not be a 970 width ad if you use a sidebar because if you do, the main content area is only 696 pixels wide. There can be a large 970 px banner only if you remove the sidebar.
