Did you have changed the theme from another one to Newspaper or something like this? It’s strange what you mean and this problem might be caused by your untested plugins. Try to disable all of these, clear all of caches and check the results.

Please update the theme to the NP 9.0.1 version via FTP way, clear all the caches and remove that strange symbols and then, you should not bring bad results.

That shouldn’t happen, maybe there is a problem with creating thumbnails. Usually regenerating the thumbnails will help

It could also be a CSS problem, or plugin interference. There have been cases before when thumbnails or images in general were not displayed correctly because of various plugins.
If you could post a link to a page where this is happening I could take a look.

I have inspected your website on FireFox and I saw that your More Articles box does not work as expected. The images are not correctly displayed. This strange behavior happens due only for FireFox browser. After some deeper investigations, I notice that your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins (WP Rocket) or customization or other external optimization tools. Please disable all plugins except Visual Composer or TD Composer, remove all of unknown Ad Code, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.

Try to disable all of the untested plugins, purge all CDN files clear all the caches and check the results.

1)It seems to be strange to this behavior. I have inspected your category page and I saw that problem happened due only for this category page and the code below will be applied only for this page. Use the code below and place it in Theme panel.

2)You should use the code below ->

}
.td-pulldown-filter-item:nth-child(5){
display:none;
}

4)Provide some useful screenshots of the problem so I can identify it closer. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of these to avoid any conflict.
