Unfortunately this file can not be set in child theme, the root theme is wp-content\plugins\td-standard-pack\Newspaper therefore you can set in child theme the files from there, from wp-content\plugins\td-standard-pack\Newspaper\parts and wp-content\plugins\td-standard-pack\Newspaper\includes also for tagDiv Composer root (wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper), wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes and wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts

I am trying to activate tagdiv composer plugin and I get the following fatal error:

I imported the default demo, and now I am trying to change the homepage. I’m clicking on edit, but the message, “The Current Content has not been created with TD Composer” comes up and it won’t let me change any of the properties of any of the elements. If it press edit, it takes me to the back end with just a load of code, no way to visually change anything.
Maybe I am clicking something wrong? I tried going on pages too, and clicking edit on home, but the same issue is coming up. I just want to be able to customise the default home page. Thanks

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
In most of the cases this is a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Unable to use TD composer. The Mobile Header page is not loading on selecting. Header Banner fails to get updated. Still uses the old banner.

My host took a look and said that Google Fonts are loading due to the TD Composer plugin. I’ve already turned off Google Fonts in the Theme Panel, is there a way to prevent it from loading in the TD Composer plugin?

Had this for a while and now its getting on my nerves that I can not edit my pages text.
In TD Composer to both pages and cloud templated I can no longer edit content of text
The WP editor pop-up open but are blank when I want to edit.
And same when I want to add a new text its blank on open and any text I put there are not saved when closing the WP editor again. Simply refuse to work.
It worked long ago when I created it. I Update theme once on previous released update after when WP editor stop work.
Not long ago I updated your release what crashed my site completely and I had to upload server backup to restore.
BUT thats another issue and not related to this WP editor issue.. I will not update to last release since is seems not compatible with my site at all.
Kindly inform me what cause WP editor in TD Composer to not show or save content put.

I’m managing a website running latest version of WordPress (v5.4.2 as of today) and over 70 extensions (I know, that’s a lot and that’s too much). The website is running pretty slow. I ran a performance profile (using BlackFire) and found out that the function td_util.php:static function get_font_family_list() from plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php consumes almost 30% of the overall ressources needed to run the page. Which is fucking huge, considering all the plugins I have so far and which is by far the most demanding of all.
I didn’t hack any page of code from tagDiv.
Running the homepage, I could see that the function is called on the homepage 841 times (ouch !!!).
Rest of my configuration :
– WordPress v5.4.2
– Newspaper 10.3
– Among my plugins, tagDiv Speed Booster is v4.9.1
What could I or you do to fix that issue ?

Pressing the next buttons should display the posts from the category that you have filtered or from all categories, this is the way that was build to work.
If this is not working like this, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also I see that you are using Newspaper v8.8 and now the last version is Newspaper v10.3.5 unfortunately I do not have that version and the files with code for Ajax next prev code is in a different pace with a different structure in last version. now the file path is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php I think that in version you are usin will be something like this wp-content/themes/Newspaper/common/wp_booster/td_block.php -> https://i.imgur.com/Vm4mhCj.png

Thank you very much! But would be there a way to take the ad implementation code from the mobile theme and replace the code from the td composer in the desktop theme with it? Or would it be possible to make the current code static with width and height?

The mobile theme can be enable/disable on posts/pages using the option from Gutenberg editor -> https://i.imgur.com/FG8ZtS3.png also the mobile theme editor can be use only on pages, only these need to be rebuild using mobile theme plugin.
Also if you shortcode need to be set in functions, it can be a change to work with mobile theme too, just set the code in functions.php from mobile theme -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php

I have found this part of code in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js (tagdiv_theme_min.js): tds_snap_menu_logo:tdUtil.getBackendVar(“tds_logo_on_sticky”) – Could this part of code cause the cumulative layout shift concerning the header logo in the desktop-version?

I know you are working hard on that problem. But it seems that the code you gave me and modified the min.js in the mobile theme worked. The layout shift is getting better and the test tool (plugin for chrome doesn’t show any layout shift anymore). So my question is: is there also a min.js file for the desktop version that I can modify in the same way?
In wordpress/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js I found the following file: tagdiv_theme_min.js (the same file that you mentioned for the mobile theme) and it includes this part: tdAffix.init({menu_selector:”.td-header-menu-wrap”,menu_wrap_selector:”.td-header-menu-wrap-full” After commenting out tdAffix.init(“.td-header-menu-wrap”) in the mobile js file as you recommended the cumulative layout shift was gone, but what should I do here? the overall score is not the problem, the problem for the mobile as the desktop theme is the cumulative layout shift which is part of the web core vitals. As you can see the CLS is for
Desktop: https://i.imgur.com/7ckfgfG.png 61% (green) 11% (orange) 28% (red) the time is 0,28s but Google only allows a maximum of 0,25s. Otherwise the page is categorized as poor. In my case all 175 sites are categorized as poor because of a to high layout shift. I don’t use any Google Fonts and I have deactivated the Font Awesome for the menu, but there is a problem that persists. When I prove the desktop-site with the Google Plugin for Chrome to count the Webcore Vitals I get a bad score as soon as I scroll up and down. And if the CLS is not fixed the site never matches the Speed Test. But that will be a big problem in future because that will be a ranking factor.
Is there nothing in the desktop-version like this (as you mentioned for the mobile version) that could cause the problem with the layout shift: wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js and search for tdAffix.init(“td-header-wrap”)??

It’s attempting to load a td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/images/thumb-disabled/td_265x198.png. I feel like there isn’t a thumb profile being made for the mobile version. I have tried the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and it did not have the ones that seemed to be required.
The mobile theme requires the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes in order to show the featured images properly.
