– I delete Newspaper theme directory
– I delete the child theme
– I delete the js-composer e td-speed-boster directory and load the new plugin
– When I enter in WordPress > Admin > Newspaper I don’t see any link ” update script”:

I use the same menu for footer (in pc and mobile). In PC links of footer run ok, but in mobile not run.

Try disabling all your plugins except Visual composer and the social counter plugin, clear any caching installed and check to see if the issue is still present. Also here is a guide if you choose to update to the latest version of the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and do not forget to update the included plugins as well from the theme package.

The settings in the theme panel are not affected by the child theme or a theme update. The settings are kept in the database. The only way you could have lost your settings is by loading a theme demo. You maybe installed the new theme and then installed a theme demo or uninstalled a theme demo. Unfortunately if this is the case, the setting sin he theme panel will have to be re-set. Sorry

@zetacomunicacion Please make sure you have the latest version of the social counter plugin provided with theme package and also Visual composer. After you update these plugins, try deactivating all other plugins, clear any installed cache (very important) and check to see if the problem is resolved. There are 2 ways to remove these icons. The easiest is to hide them with css:
.td-social-google, .td-social-pinterest{
display:none!important;
}
The second method involves editing the theme files but this will be more of a hassle as you have to make the modification again if an update changes those files. The code is found here: https://www.screencast.com/t/ms0ELj4ly6R If you remove the 2 lines of code, the icons will no longer show up.

See theme docs regarding bundled version of VC with the theme; it’s updated only when theme updated. Or, you can buy your own separate license if you need support from WPbakery.
With the latest update the using a small browser-window (or a tablet) the logo sticks to the left while the rest of the site is centered? You can see this phenomenon if you resize the browser-window. The logo in the upper left corner stays to the left while the rest of the site adjusts to the changes in browser window size.
I talked to the creators of visual composer because my version won’t update and now causing issues. This is what they stated:
“The product license tab at your end is disabled by the theme author using vc_set_as_theme. You can get in touch with him and get rid of the above code from the theme to get it back. Once done, you can activate the license as per: https://vc.wpbakery.com/video-academy/install-visual-composer-plugin-wordpress/ to access auto-updates.”

Hello, I have a child theme and during my last update to v7.8 basic settings in the theme panel were lost and it reset to the theme defaults (i.e. logo, footer background). Even when I deactivate the child theme and activate the regular Newspaper 7.8 theme the info is still gone.
I read in the documentation that you had updated child theme support to avoid issues like this.
Is there anyway for me to restore the info or do I have to re-build everything?

I have changed my Menu colors. I have checked them in Live Preview and they are correct. But when I go to my site, they are the old colors. I have cleared cookies and asked other people to check for me. How can I get it to update?
SOrry Catalin but you will see nothing, because I have removed the block (block 14) that was only showing a large blank space instead of his original layout.
Before the update it was a block 14 just like in the demo site with a dark background…

At the moment not all of the files from the core framework (wp_booster) of the theme are supported by the child theme. Maybe this will be subject to change in a future update. If you want to make modifications to these files you will have to make them through the main theme files. Please consider making a backup just in case something goes wrong.
