First of all, you should make a full backup to your data to be safe. Then, you should download the latest version of theme from Envato Market and then, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ you should update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.

Please keep in mind that the latest version of Visual Composer come bundled with the latest theme version. First of all, you should download the latest version of the theme from Envato Market, then remove the old theme and old version of VC and then install/update it according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ Clear all your caches and check the results.

Hi,

If I understand correctly you want to display the social links for each of the authors in that respective page. That is a feature that displays only for the author page and it is not available in this case. Maybe you can find a plugin that has this capability and use it to display the author social links in the author box.
Unfortunately there is no option to share the images in the media grid separately. They are all part of the same element and post, and can only be shared as a whole with the post social sharing.
These are the current options for these elements at the moment, maybe additional features will be available in a future update in this matter, as the theme is is in a continuous improvement process.

I have made the test by modifying the files from the main theme, the child theme currently supports only the td_module_single_base.php file to be used in it – https://www.screencast.com/t/x1OctTrb – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
I should have mentioned this earlier, I am very sorry.
You could use only this file in the child theme and create a directory path similar to the main theme for it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Ys9NOduYS6 and use the other file from the main theme. Or just use the main files all together. As it currently is you will have to make these modifications after every update, for one file or both of them.

Please do not use PHP version 7.1. The theme is only compatible with version 7.0 or bellow at the moment. We will add 7.1 compatibility in future updates.

It seems that your website is not functioning properly at the moment. I suggest you disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and check to see if the issue is still there, because most of the time plugins are the cause for this. If the problem is persisting, you could reinstall the latest version of the theme and the plugins bundled in the theme package. Here is a guide to help you if you choose to update

To be safe, make a full backup to your data and then make a new clean install with the latest version of the theme which can be downloaded from Theme Forest.
