Following an auto update of my site to WP 4.7.1 today, none of my featured images or embedded images within posts are showing. All images are visible in the media library, and when I access the image via the URL, it appears in the browser.

This is happening in all browsers.

I have regenerated my thumbnails and disabled Jetpack and Smush It plugins to no effect.

Sorry if this has already been discussed but couldn’t find anything.
Im using the newspaper for a couple of years. And we are included for some years in Google News with a couple of sites. The Google News Forum reports a lot of websites with the same issue, now we will check of this is theme based or site based. Do you guys with a Google News inclusion have the same problem?

At the moment we have issues.

Since the last algo update in november we are not ranked in the Google Search results and the Top Stories. In the news-tab we have the highest position.
Are here users with the same problem since november? We use the Yoast SEO plugin and the latest version of newspaper.

The Google News Forum reports a lot of websites with the same issue, now we will check of this is theme based or site based. Al of our sites with newspaper are since november/ december not included in the search results in the news tab.

Hi, I wrote to you in the Themeforest comment section (https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609/comments) about the fact that all my sidebars deactivated when I updated to the latest theme version. You told me it’s probably some sort of conflict with a plugin. I understand that, but the thought of trying to re-set all those sidebars is very daunting for me.

Here’s my question: I have a database backup of my site dated Dec. 22, 2016–before the update. Would I mess things up if I installed the database from that backup? Would it give me back my sidebars without the headache of going through each custom sidebar and re-inserting widgets? I’ve had to do this the last few times I have updated, which leads me to DREAD when it’s time to update. Or, would it take me backwards in the theme version?

Where can I find a list of new changes in Newspaper 7.6? Looked around and within first 10 minutes I did not figure out it yet. When I click details via Envato Market plugin it sends me to https://themeforest.net/user/tagdiv/portfolio?TB_iframe=true&width=640&height=662 but nothing there also did not found it from the forum and other pages. Did I miss something somewhere?

NB! Used Envato plugin to upgrade Newspaper theme (looks like it was not a good idea) and it still upgrading it, over 30minutes, So I cancelled it and upgraded it another way within few seconds. Has someone tried Envato Market plugin before?

I update visual composer to latest version from theme package. The following notice happen on my site.
My worpress version is 4.5
Theme version is Newspaper V 7.1.1
On windows hosting

I just updated my site to use the footer template style one. and in the popular posts its showing posts from 2015. Where in the site do I update that section to filter correctly, because I know that is wrong.
