It’s not a mistake. The post image effect was built using a background image there so settings another would break this feature, that’s why the background image isn’t setting there.
We’ll try to find another approach for this in the coming updates.

The latest theme version now available on themeforest has the new YouTube API support, so please make sure that you update your theme to the last version now available on themeforest (4.6.3) then test this again. I’ve also tested the theme’s latest version for this but had no issues regarding this, the youtube video playlist works well: http://screencast.com/t/AYByYzIA

revin cu aceeasi problema. Nu am facut update la 4.2.2, nu am facut update la nimic si de ieri iar a luat-o razna playlist-ul de youtube. Tot ce am facut a fost sa bag un nou video 🙁

increased that and installed it again. Seemed to work for a second then said it was deactivated due to error. Honestly, even if fixed – this is just to buggy for me. I need a bullet proof solution with easy updates. I can’t risk this failing or erroring out down the road when I really push the limits of this. Problemele se pare că erau generate de logoul din footer (nu se aplica schimbarea extensiei). Dar am șters widgetul respectiv și l-am reinstalat și acum totul este ok (afișează cu verde și Google, iar în Safari apare lacătul și certificatul).
Update: Totuși, butonul Like pentru Facebook, pe care îl am în articole are un link „http” și nu „https”, motiv pentru care a trebuit să îl dezactivez (deoarece Chrome îl bloca și afișa eroarea: http://www.screencast.com/t/dw55izzwQPN . Cum pot schimba linkul să nu mai fie această problemă?

Also, as an update — the above process with shim and using the VC version included with NM 1.6, and switching back and forth both work perfectly. Preumably this will work same way with current version of VC is you’re using it.
With the SHIM beta 1.02 plugin from TagDiv, only couple of blocks “so far” don’t work for home page
a) full width divider line for new row
b) raw html box
c) column text box
So, when using “shim” beta 1.02 these would reveal on home page

Possibly others; I don’t use the whole kitchen sink; mostly normal content blocks.
I was using the column text element to put a full width h1 tag about website block for SEO.
For the time being to use shim plugin, I just moved that code to my custom sidebar on home page as normal text widget; since I’d already created custom CSS for the text anyway.

I see you use an very old theme version (1.7) while the latest version is 4.6.3 now available on themeforest: http://themeforest.net/downloads so you need to change this sign theme’s customizer: http://screencast.com/t/ZIeLRKDWf2q If this cusomtizer isn’t working for you then you would have to update your theme and use the latest version’s features and panel to change the copyright date and text as you like.
To update the theme please follow the theme update guide paste below and make sure you backup your current theme an WordPress installations so you can revert back to them if something goes wrong: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

I’ve checked your site and noticed all this 404 errors to theme’s resources (images/sprites/icons..) in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/wTCIpzv8byub
Make sure you also test this using the main theme and without plugins and make sure you also empty all caches then test again.
Let me know how it goes and also try to update the child theme, backup the change made to theme’s files there, update it and do the changes again and also make sure that you adapt the child theme customization to the latest theme files.

Did you used patch to update your theme? I have already asked you from what theme version did you updated?
Please note that if you used an older version than 4.6.2 you make a fresh install of the theme via FTP and no use only patch – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
Also if you use child theme, please check this with main theme and make sure that your child theme is updated to the latest version.

Hi. I have bought this theme three times and using it on three different sites. How can I know what site is using what license? If it’s important to know, in regards to update etc.
Update:
testing again today … managed to move another site from NM 1.6 and VC from Jan., to NM 1.71 with Shim Beta 1.02.
One minor issue with a full width (2 col) divider class on home page and full width text block (which I used to put some H1 text bottom of home page about the site).
Radu, sent you couple emails around 12pm PDT 5/11/15.
Presumably only downside to using the “shim” — is that one would need to switch VC back on to edit a page (e.g., static home page), and turn off the shim. I will be testing that usability here momentarily.
So, likely process would be
a) develop home page w/ VC turned on; shim OFF
b) switch off VC plugin
c) switch on TD shim plugin
d) check home page works properly
If one needed to edit
a) switch OFF the td shim beta
b) switch on VC
c) edit page, then repeat process in first block above.
Anecdotal for anybody wondering what is up with this beta testing 🙂
Not sure how mod_pagespeed would work with the swap out of VC vs shim …

for the first site I was testing shim with from last week;
I today switched back on mod_pagespeed (for those unaware, this is an Apache optimization plugin from Google which runs on server) and put back in all my htaccess optimizations and it’s working A-Okay (I had turned off all such optimizations for testing the SHIM plugin first try to avoid any conflicts with that).

I’m having some problems with jetPack, after update, the mobile version doesn’t load and displays all white. Tested all plugins and worked well with the DEFAULT theme, but the jetPack and Newspaper combo dont want to work on mobile.

Please make sure that you update Visual Composer plugin as you use an old version – http://screencast.com/t/uIcAqCJKEu The latest version of Visual Composer that you can find in /plugins folder from theme files that you have downloaded from themeforest. Please try to upload it via FTP and also delete the old js_composer folder before upload it.

The version 4.4.4 of the Visual Composer plugin is in the /plugins folder from theme files that you downloaded from themeforest. This is the latest version of the plugin that we have tested with the theme. A new version of the plugin will be added in the nest theme update after it will be tested.
Please provide more details if you have other issues as I have checked your site but it looks fine at least on my side.
