Hi,
Glad you have managed to fix the other issues, regarding the Facebook count issue please make sure you have added the right Facebook id in the social count widget and replace the content of td_social_api.php with this code: http://pastebin.com/HhKRs2SB or you can wait for the next theme update and just update the plugin.
Thanks

Hi,
The best way would be to replace and/or add it in your css style sheet this way your css will be loaded with the main css, note though that the style.css file can be modified within an theme update so you would have to make this changes again after an update.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately you would need custom work for that as the pin it button it’s added via that JavaScript to all images/thumbs on post you would have to modify the JavaScript code that adds the button to your images: http://screencast.com/t/wyPkVdIJcmj
Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Thanks
hi,
Yes, it’s possible, but you will need custom work for this as the theme doesn’t have a n option for it. If you want to do it you would have to build and add the code for the description here: http://screencast.com/t/SlKcnz3aMQdc

Hello
I’m new to WP customizing.
In order to make a Product Listing Database , I need to create a custom post template including some custom fields.
Can you address me to some documentation or best practice to do this ?
I would like either to keep this customizations with future Newpaper updates.
Thanks for reply
Hi guys đ
I have submitted the plugin to CodeCanyon. I am not sure how long it is going to take for them to review it but I will keep you updated.
Also, how much shall it cost — I am not sure at all đ
BTW, I have changed several things and the new version is live here.
What do you think? Suggestions?
Thanks!
Chris, for option 3 I”ll do it manually because there are a lot of links to tags etc too.
I’ve a site that’s not too big so, it should take about an hour đ
THanks for writing, but of course before that, i’ll make a backup and try phpmyadmin and update via queries. đ
Only stuff I’ve had to deal with are:
1) setting site URL in the WP settings to https
2) reset logos in panel to https://
3) search/replace dbase to set any “placed” images to https vs http (e.g., if you place an image in middle of post using media manager, it is “in the text” as http … that’s part of the body post, and doesn’t update
4) consider setting /paths/to/ in the wp-config.php to optimize that
Any placed local ads or graphics in widgets also need https: obviously
Hi!
Awesome!!!! It works! đ You guys rock!
Thank you so much for this super fast help!

I’m customizing a template to launch PortugalStartup.com next monday. Suddenly when I was trying to update some settings within the theme pannel, when I click on SAVE SETTINGS, the icon showing that is saving show up but is there forever without saving the page.
I already saw some people with the same issue, and the solution was to ask the hosting provider to create an exception for a specific file (related with ajax). I contacted them today and they said that the file is missing some information to be able to work. Now i’m stuck and don’t know what to do.
I’ve updated the template for version 4.4 hoping that it would fixit, but no.
BTW, I’m using GoDaddy as hosting provider.
Can someone help me? I need to launch this website on Monday morning :s THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Hi,
First please make sure you have other posts which will have to load when the page is loaded. If posts fail to load please deactivate all plugins leaving only this that theme requires also empty cache or purge files if you use any cache or CDN plugins and check if this issue is still present.
If nothing work please updated your theme to the latest version 4.4, we have added new custom made infinite scrolling script with support for a ‘load more’ button after x number of pages.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Possibly related to this thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/duplicate-ogimage-tag-due-to-fb-video-fix-update/
Roger that. It’s just annoying having to make all these changes to files manually everytime we update the newspaper theme.
Also just spotted if i change that code, the menu bar doesn’t seem to want to scroll down the site any longer and also the youtube embeds dont auto-resize to the width of the page.
Thanks.

Hi,
You can do it like usual. From post editing panel select “Add media” button then select “Create Gallery”, select or upload images, set the gallery to link to media file then chose the gallery type, update gallery and post also and check the result: http://screencast.com/t/cl91x5Ux
You can also use this guide for the tagdiv gallery which is more explicit: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-an-image-slide-gallery/
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have a feature like that and you will need custom work to get it done. Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Thanks for understanding and for your message!

Hi,
Thanks adhi!
@FRMedia1981
As @adhi suggested if the short-codes aren’t interpreted means that could be a problem with Visual Composer plugin, pleas delete and re-install the plugin following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion, I have added this on our feature request list and we will consider this for future updates, we have to pick very carefully though what we implement as we have over 160 feature requests, if more people request this we will add it.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Contact your web hosting provider to run a scan of your site;
login to your site and change passwords for admin;
delete the revolution slider if it’s an old version (not updated with theme 4.2 or higher); the old version that came with Newspaper 3.92 was hackable.
Theme doesn’t get hacked; poor quality plugins get hacked; bad passwords get hacked; somebody on insecure web server from other domain can hack if server not patched, etc.
Check the version of Revolution Slider you have as first step; remove any “plugins” you didn’t get with theme or which were not downloaded from the main wordpress.org repository (any commercial plugins); turn off any membership plugins.
Start there.
I still use the old Newspaper version, because I need the 980px. Do you have any plans to bring it back? It’s very important and without this function I can’t update anymore. đ
Since last update I can’t click on the articles in the slide. How can I fix it?
And another problem: How can I change Font Size in Headlines of Sliders Mobile? It’s much too big.

(I’m still not a programmer ;-))
Thanks for helping me out
Hi,
Thanks kevinp_2012 for this info. We are currently investigating this issue and hopefully we will be able to fix the counter plugin until the next update.
Thanks
Thanks Christopher, I wasn’t aware of that, good info!
Also, I did fix the problem with Google Analyticator. Turns out it’s a more serious issue that causes this problem on any website that is using both Akismet and Google Analyticator. There’s a config.php code error in a file in Google Analyticator that causes the issue. A simple change to the code fixes the problem.
For anyone else that may have this issue you can see the problem definition and solution on the WordPress Support website here…

UPDATE> Problem Fixed.
I found the problem, it was indeed a Plugin. The new version of the plugin Google Analyticator caused the Widget menus to disappear. Disabling the plugin fixed the problem. Here’s the plugin and version information that caused the problem…
Google Analyticator:
Adds the necessary JavaScript code to enable Google’s Analytics. After enabling this plugin you need to authenticate with Google, then select your domain and you’re set. Version 6.4.8 | By Video User Manuals Pty Ltd | View details
My guess is the javascript they are using is causing issues with the menu function. I will look for a different Google Analytics plugin to try.
Thank you.

Craig
