I would like to advice you for your next update to add the choice in the newspaper blocks and modules options the :
1) Popular of the day posts &
2) Popular of the month.
You already have popular of the week and all time. I think popular of the day will help me a lot and of course many other news-blogs. If you already had provide these choises I would have definately have used that.

Plugin must be updated individual if exist a new version of it. Replaced via FTP or removed and installed again from the theme plugin request.
We will update the VC plugin, the updated plugin will be available with the theme.

Hi all
Please delete the Newspaper/wpbakery folder from the theme!
it is an old folder from the 3.7 version of our theme and it prevents visual composer from loading.

the code that has to be added to the top:
//init the variable if it's undefined, sometimes wordpress will not run the wp_footer hooks in wp-admin (in modals for example)

Can be done with a custom CSS, also we will fix this in the next update.
Until that you can use this:

Is like that because you use the tagDiv Speed Booster plugin and this will move the style at the footer. And the first render load the default CSS then your custom CSS(predefined style). You can try to disable the plugin and see if works better.

Unfortunately I don’t have that option rae-secret. Since I just bought the template from Themeforest, I don’t have access to older versions.
I had same problem too. Old version is working. Just upload and overwrite. Now pages are OK.
Do you guys want the old version of that plugin? I have the old one.
Having the same issue as mentioned above. Tried manually uploading the js_composer plugin folder, replacing the one that came pre-packaged and it didn’t solve the issue for me.
@jim did it worked for you? my one isn’t showing the blocks properly instead, it is showing [vc box] and stuff. how did you do that?

How to update plugin, I have Envato WordPress Toolkit but it still shows there is a update for visual composer.

go to the folder above take the plugin files you get from the
js_composer.zip in the download from themeforest and overwrite the files on your hosting server. You may need to unzip them and put them in a folder first.
You do this with you ftp client. I use filezilla. It is free just google it.
@jim What do you mean “FTP overwrote the js_composer plugin folder”? I am having the same problem. Currently reverting to the old version of that plugin

Have already added

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');and deactivated all plugins.
Still nothing.
This is a serious issue, please give us a straight forward solution, or even better an update that solves the problem.

Visual Composer 4.12 will not update to version 4.13?
Good afternoon, I just update the plugin as you say and I have gone from 1.3 to 1.0 is it normal?
I used the. Zip of 3.8.1 upgrade
Does that mean the plugin will update ok if I update the whole theme using the updater ?
Having the same issue just updated theme and installed the VC via the plugin and VC has vanished? Homepage is now broken?
I update today to Newspaper Version 3.8.1 and update the 2 plugins via FTP to.
Now the visual composer addon did not work. At my front page i get [vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"]…. and when i try to edit my home page in backend the visual composer did not work. only default editor.
Can you give me some hint what is going wrong.
