Featured image or video

Featured Image

To set a Featured Image for your post, just upload an image in the featured image post box.

This is the image that will be displayed in the beginning of your post and also on the pages as a preview image of that post.

How to set a featured image

Featured Video

Featured Video will only work when using the Video Format.

To set a Featured Video for your post, just place your YouTube/Vimeo/Dailymotion or Facebook video link in the required Featured Video Post box.

Video Format is perfect if you have a video and you want to show it at the beginning of your post.

The video preview is automatically generated on pages. After you update the post, the Featured Image box will display the generated preview image.

NOTE: You should use Featured Video only on:

  • Post Style Default
  • Post Style 1
  • Post Style 2
  • Post Style 3
  • Post Style 8

Facebook Videos

For Facebook’s videos you will have to use the following video link formats:

  • https://www.facebook.com/{username}/videos/{video-id}/ – user’s video must be public
  • https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v={video-id}

The theme’s featured video feature also works using Facebook’s 360 videos

In some situations, your site’s visitors might experience some inconveniences while viewing your theme’s Facebook featured embedded videos (low video quality, blurry video, or reduced in size) on browsers like Firefox or Internet Explorer.

This may occur if your visitor’s operating system is missing the media-related technologies needed to decode and play videos and music properly. In this situations, we recommend advising your website’s visitors to download and install the missing features appropriate for their operating system version. More information and guide on this matter can be found in this article.
