Hi,
I’m almost sure that the theme got corrupted or some files did not upload correctly. Can you reupload the whole theme?
Radu O.
@Balders: Ich habe den EventsManager in der Pipeline und formatiere noch die Ausgaben. Ich spiele nun auch mit dem Gedanken sie direkt in den “Inhaltsbereich” der Homepage einzubauen. Zeigst du mir, was gemacht werden muss?
P.S. Ich würde gerne wissen, ob da noch weiterentwickelt wird, da seit ca. 5 Monaten kein Update, noch ne Meldung im Blog oder auf Facebook gemacht wurde. Hmm…
Hi,
Please make sure you have replaced all files via FTP when you have done the update. Also clear all cache, browser cache, your site cache if you use a cache plugin.
Thanks!
Hello,
if I’m not wrong, in newspaper there is no way to edit a single post on the fly, with an “edit” link available only to the logged in user and author of the post. Therefore, if I need to edit or update an old post, I have to use the WordPress dashboard, looking for the post. This is not particularly user-friendly, IMHO. I hope this will be fixed in next releases.

Thanks.
When I install bbpress in my site, I could see it without problems.
But since the last theme updates when I join to my forum and it’s a mess. Without styles.
Should be work fine? Is it my problem or theme?
thanks
Hi Marius,
I deactivated all plugins but it had no effect. The theme panel was still not working, I still cannot navigate between the options.
Hi,
You have some javascript error in console, see here: http://screencast.com/t/Od7wOX6qj please disable all plugin or one by one and see if works.
Thanks for the message!
Hi.
I have WP-PostViews + W3 Total Cache. If i disable WP-PostViews, i lost all statistics.
Maybe you did not understand me, when i upgrade to 3.5 problem occurs with only one block 2 on the main page. For example, if you upgrade to the counter in the block shown for each of the three records 100, 75, 90, then after the update immediately see 4500, 4500, 4500. I disabled W3 Total cache, deleted a сache folder, the problem remained.
Hi,
Yes that is available in a higher version. Just make the update to latest version.
Thanks!
Hi,
We have update theme to 3.5, but there is still that bug with menu.
Any news when we can expect bug fix?
Thx
Hi, I’ve just updated to the latest version (3.5) and now the theme panel has become unresponsive – I cannot navigate between the different options. Also images/thumbnails seem to have resized and part of the header ad is cut off from the bottom.
http://welfarenewsservice.com/
I also posted in in the comments section on themeforest, so apologies for asking here too.
Hello again,
In previous versions of the Newspaper theme I had the “Link to article + lightbox” feature enabled in the Featured images and it worked great! It has stopped working.
I have a feeling it is the NextGEN Gallery plugin that is to blame but I can’t be sure because I have been using it with the Theme since December 2013 without problems. NextGEN updated a week ago and I think, I am not sure, that is when these issues started.
Just visit any post at http://www.streethunters.net to see what I mean.
Can you help me?
Thanks
Note –
one option may be to create a custom RSS feed, using a “page” and then publish custom RSS where you strip out any shortcodes for the post meta; then replace all pointers in the head for your custom RSS.
This is somewhat advanced, but if you google how to make a custom RSS feed it’s one way to work “around” any of these types of issues. Or, perhaps hack the RSS template in core WP code to strip shortcodes?
Not a perfect answer. Just a thought. We built a custom RSS feed for specific purpose to create a clean feed without auto-hyperlinks for a syndication thing. Works well. I don’t have the code handy, unfortunately — but upshot is you copy the RSS template to make new page template like ourrss.php and then create new page with that template to have rss be at /yoursite.xyz/ourrss
Might help. Might not. Was just checking in here today since I saw ping on new update 🙂

Hello all..
if you’re getting some bizarre things on your site from using YOAST SEO 1.5x, after upgrading from the stable 1.4.25 version, please be aware of the following major issues.
I am recommending you NOT upgrade to Yoast SEO 1.5x until they get a stable version!
——–
There have been a LARGE number of bugs with the Yoast SEO plugin released last week (1.5), and about three or four patches so far. Still buggy as hell with 1.5.2.3 (including option for Google News keywords not saving to dbase or showing in the SEO post panel). I rolled back my sites to the prior version (stable), 1.4.25 due to a lot of issues including a major memory spike on our server post 1.5 update. If you look at the changelog for 1.5 it’s pretty awful, and doesn’t bode well for their new development team, frankly.

Bei Themeforest komplett downloaden, dann kannst du wählen, ob du manuell updatest (nur die geänderten Dateien, siehst du im Ordner gekennzeichnet) oder das alles überschreibst. Deine Custom Sachen wären dann natürlich weg. 🙁
It is the plugin. I checked already installed the previous version of the plugin update and paging now works correctly.
Wo findet man das neue Update? Ist das in meinem Theme-Forest-Account als Update gekennzeichnet oder muss ich das komplette Magazin-Theme downloaden???
hi,
thank you for the fast answer.
actually i do not have coding qualifications, (i wish a had.. 🙂 ) but i may ask some of my friends.
At least i learned that i can’t change it from the theme control panel
I should be grateful if you could take this topic as a suggestion for next update.
