It is possible that the theme and plugins update automatically, but the option is not set in the theme, the option is provided by your host, so you need to ask your host if the auto-update option is enabled or you have set.

It is the 3rd or 4th time the automatic update broke our website, forcing the website to display a bunch of short-code instead. The case gets worse when Cloudflare grab the cache
Why? Because when the theme update itself, it doesn’t update the dependency plugins, the tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library in fact they were apparently disabled due to incompatibility with the updated theme version.
I think this same issue affected this thread
How do I disable the automatic update, at least to save myself and the site from embarrassment?

My website is conso-mag.com and it seems that I have a problem in the comments section, but I do not know how to solve that.
The images do not show anymore in the articles, and this error messages is there on the comment section.

I guess it might have something to do with a php update made by my hosting company, but I don’t know how to deal with that. Can you please have a look and help me there ?

Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings – Your homepage displays 1) Your latest posts, 2) a static page.
I’m using the standard newspaper theme and currently have the homepage showing a static page. It asks me to select a homepage and a different posts page. The posts page always is just a page that shows my latest article, and I am wondering how I can edit this page as it doesn’t have any info on it other than just one post. I also noticed that if I select the homepage to display the ‘your latest posts’ option, it shows the same latest post page where it is just my latest article, with no other content. For a news focused website that looks very similar to the newspaper pro demo, which option do you recommend for ‘Your homepage displays’ static or your latest posts page? I did notice that when accessing the website from a different device, the home page doesn’t always update right away when I have the ‘a static page’ option selected.

I contacted Worpress’ Support and they said:
“Ok. That should be ok. It appears to be an issue introduced by the latest update to your theme: https://wordpress.com/activity-log/gay.blog.br?group=theme

I tried another Styles like “Style 7” and it works fine

No plugin conflict I can find
One strange thing is that the custom work from Tagdiv adds the ‘live category tag’ options to all flex blocks – this new label should appear near to that menu item that I have on my theme – but doesn’t
The Big Grids do not have the ‘live category tag’ option from TD custom work, but the new label option DOES appear on FlexGrids
As I said though the custom work was a few updates ago and all has been fine until this improvement

It’s a child theme after TagDiv customisation work, but has always updated ok with other recent updates – could that be the issue?

On the 11.4 changelog – it says that the new custom label feature ( extra label ) is on all flex items
But on my update it only appears in the TDC settings for flex grids – not flex blocks – am I missing something?

If you want to update the theme I recommend that you update the theme via FTP/cPanel on a staging website and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the look of the website.

Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.

Hi, I have updated my website (iot.electronicsforu.com) 2 days back. After the update, the header ad is shoifted towards left bottom of logo, trending now tab UI is showing like column type and menu colour is changed from black to white. I have cleared the chache, but it is not getting corrected.

Hi, after updating “Newspaper” to version 11.4.1., the official AMP plugin has started returning an error, which you can see in this screenshot:AMP Screenshot
Also, pages that used to work with ?amp no longer preview on desktop, for example: https://www.leyendasdetoledo.com/puerta-cambron-toledo/?amp
In addition, Google Search Console has also started giving hundreds of AMP validation errors: “The referrer AMP URL is not an AMP page.”
I have the latest version of all plugins and WP fully updated.
Any ideas?

thanks for contacting development. Since Newspaper is using Modals, there are no needs for browser tabs anymore.
On top it is more customer/ user friendly to keep such message (error / thankyou) on the same page as the form.
Hopeful it will be possible at a future update.

Well, today I noticed something strange. In Theme Panel, in the “Welcome” section, now appears “Prebuilt Website Installed: News Magazine”, but it was always the “Newspaper Pro” theme (https://prnt.sc/26utpqm).
I also noticed something, “Newspaper Theme” always appears on the site https://www.wpthemedetector.com/, and now it just says “It was not possible to detect the WordPress theme in https://gay.blog.br, although WordPress was detected on that website.”
And looking further, I found this link of yours (https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-vs-newsmag-how-to-choose-the-perfect-wordpress-theme-for-your-project/) that says: “tagDiv Cloud Library is a gallery of pre-made design templates that are entirely customizable. This option is available only with the Newspaper theme.”
Is it possible that my theme got misconfigured from “Newspapper” to “Newsmag” with the last update? If yes, how to fix this?

Hello. the save not working on theme if i modify anything. I tried to update logo and favicon, also change one of the theme youtube background video but the save is not working at all. After i click save everything goes back to default.
Can I copy the change file into the child theme directory to prevent it from overwriting after an update?

Have given cotton updates in these 5 months but still could not solve a problem
Were working before last update. All settings seem fine.
I updated to 11.4.1 and it’s still the same issue.

On top, right below the featured image, the ads takes a while to load. It’s the direct Adsense ad, without any ad server.
