We have some guide for how to update the theme, but before to do this, please make sure that you make a full backup to your website and database to prevent an unpleasant situation. Also you can try first the update on sub-domain or in a staging website.

Hi V3N0M, the cloud elements can be edited using tagDiv Composer and these elements can not be set in a child theme, therefore when you’ll update the theme, the changes made in these files will be lost.

Finally we got it with deactivation of one site, then activate the theme of the first Multisite -> check for updates -> install updates -> deactivate first site -> activate the original site.

Hi Calin, thats what we think.
Unfortunatly the theme in the very first site is not activated and dos not allow to update. We can try to deactivate one of the other two, activate the first theme and start the updater.

My theme is still on the 9.6 version and can’t find a way to update it. of course the licence key is registered.
Is a multisite install.
How can i update the theme please ? should i desactivate it and reupload the new files ?

Indeed the above steps were for a standard post style, as I can see you are using a single post template from cloud template, this need to be modified in these files:
-> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_review_overall.php comment these 2 lines -> https://i.imgur.com/LbpbDeL.png and in wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_review_overview.php add “/ 10” on this line -> https://i.imgur.com/aeIib0g.png then you will get a design like this -> https://i.imgur.com/h7tVSjF.png unfortunately these changes can not be set in a child theme and will be lost (you need to make those settings again) when you will make a theme update.

Hi Calin, I appreciate that it’s not easy for you (the support team either.) So you can appreciate how much more difficult it is for me who last programmed a computer in 1974.
I think the ideal solution in the longer term is for the developers to enable the user to choose which icons they wish to use as they’ve done with the Header Menu in a theme update.
In the Header Menu today a user can choose from Font Awesome, Typicons, Open Iconic, TagDiv Multi-purpose and Font Newspaper for the icons they wish to use.

Can I rework/overwrite the file without hesitation or will it be overwritten again with the next theme update? What exactly does it mean that it is in the cloud? Should I store it somewhere else in my system to protect it from being overwritten?

Hello everyone. I am using your theme and I also have both the plugins and the theme updated however when I try to edit the home page by using single image element it keeps throwing the following error: Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation
This error shows also in every other page I try to use the image elements. Also I cannot delete the columns. By viewing the console I am seeing two js errors which maybe causes this major flaw.

Hi Shared-IT, usually when you are using a multi-site you need to start to update the theme and plugins startling with the parent/first site, in this way you can prevent the above situations.
Also in some case on multi-sites you need to use the manually installation.

I made a note to be add an option to can display the parent page on breadcrumbs, unfortunately I can not say if this will be add in the coming update.

I have tried everything I could. All of my plugin disabled except tagDiv ones. Disable Wp rocket and all cache deleted. Still, the same problem. I think it happened just after the last WordPress update. I have checked my website in Twenty Twenty theme and it is working fine there.
Please help me out.
Just find out that the theme is not activated in the very first Multisite. Maybe this is colliding with the updates of the themes we activated in two subsites.

By clicking the “install update” button it looks like installation is working but after 5 seconds I am in the update section of the network administration of multisite saying everything is updated, but thats not the case.
We will try to manually update via the WordPress theme panel.
Not working neither. and even more, i have now something strange with picture block, not showing anymore editable on td composer, and picture size get small now. so as i can not edit or find anymore block to edit these pictures, they have to stay there, smal. Please help to fix these bugs since update

Yes, there is a quick fix for this problem:
Add a fix in theme files, for this you need to go on wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/js/tagdiv-theme-plugins-setup.js and replace the jQuery(window).load(function () { from line 234 -> https://i.imgur.com/agaEJWA.png with jQuery(window).on("load", function () { -> https://i.imgur.com/zBFX5Ye.png also you need to do the same on this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_wp_admin.min.js but since this file is minify you can replace the code inside it with this one ->https://pastebin.com/YTiYVfU4
These warnings will be fix for the coming updates!

Surely the breadcrumbs element should show the parent page anyway, without having to edit the theme code.
I can’t even work out how to edit the theme code anyway, to see if your second solution would work
