Issue solved, the amp plugin update disabled some options in the theme panel newspaper.. AMP version was only send to mobile..and not on AMP and Mobile as before, furthermore ajax live search was enabled.

Hi there, we have followed the update guide but are still getting the following error whenever we try to add any plugin, logout, login, add any theme, and various other scenarios:

We can provide credentials to our staging site where this issue is present, just need to know the best way to do that securely. We’d also need to know what actions are taken to fix this so that we can perform them on the live site.
Update: I copied all styles, but what I get is simply the same as if I would import Flex Block 1 and select a category there. Not the nice lay out of the “single more from author” element, and not the previous and next item – just the most recent. How to solve this?

I am using Newspaper theme version 10.3.4
I found that an update is available with version 10.3.6.1 but when I made the update my site was broken and a WordPress warning message shown. So, I made a roll-back.
How can I get the latest updated theme without any error?
Also, I have made some customization with the theme as per my requirements. So how can I create a child theme and keep my customization separate from the parent theme?
Can you make the current theme update and create a child theme for me?

For mobile version you need to edit this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/login.php
Unfortunately the file for desktop version is a cloud element and it can not be set in a child theme, it must be set back after theme update, but the file for mobile version is a standard one and it can be set in child theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

Yes, there is a quick fix for this problem:
Add a fix in theme files, for this you need to go on wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/js/tagdiv-theme-plugins-setup.js and replace the jQuery(window).load(function () { from line 234 -> https://i.imgur.com/agaEJWA.png with jQuery(window).on("load", function () { -> https://i.imgur.com/zBFX5Ye.png also you need to do the same on this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_wp_admin.min.js but since this file is minify you can replace the code inside it with this one ->https://pastebin.com/YTiYVfU4
These warnings will be fix for the coming updates!
Make sure that all theme settings are as in our guide ->

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

since the update of AMP Plugin this morning, my home page on mobile AMP version is brocken (look at the footer). I know the issue comes from tagdiv composer because when I go to plugin supression “AMP”, first it says : 138 validations errors with Tagdiv composer and when I supress tagdiv composer, the page become normal but without custom CSS.

Since the last update I finding it difficult to add or change image ad’s through TD composer. Sometimes it will add a .jpg image but it seems very hit and miss. PNG files never add or update though.
Never had an issue previously.

When I try to edit a page with TD Composer, the system hangs and I can’t edit.
If updated WordPress and I’m using Newspaper 9.8.
Is this a known issue? Any suggestions?

If you want to use the “Sign in/Register” button, but you do not want the popup you can edit the theme files, is not recommended but you can achieve what you need ->wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_user.php her you need to replace the link with your link and remove a class -> https://i.imgur.com/Yt8b3iC.png
The only problem is that you need to set those changes back after the theme update.

I am using newspapper theme version 10.3.5
I noticed that an update to version 10.3.6.1 was available but when I made this update my site was broke and only a blunk white page with a warning message that there is a wordpress issue was shown. So I restore the previus version. I made a roll back.
Since then I notice th e following issues:
1. When I create a new post I can not insert a video from youtube. In the past I was inserted the from youtube and the video was playing normaly inside the post. this is not happeing anymore. (My youtubeAPI key is normally activated).
2. When I am trying to add a media text inside a post the panel is toooooo big and I can not see the part of the image at all. I can only see the part of the content. so I can not use in normally (working in Desktop).
3. When working on mobile and try to add an image in a new post I can not see the images. I can only see the library and 4images but not all of them so I can choose. It is like this part not to be responsive as it sholud be. (this is only happening when try to create a post through mobile)
The last one which was also a matter before the update
a. there is no logo at all in the mobile version ..you can only see a logo when you scroll down but when you first open you can not see a logo.

Hi V3N0M, this will not be so easy to do it since the changes from theme files are overwrite when you’ll update the theme, only the element that can be set in a child theme can be keep.

Hi Shared-IT, out theme was not not been tested on multi-sites by our team, but I have seen a lot of users that use it and it works, now I can not say the steps or settings that they are using, but normal there should work without any problems.

This problem started since the last WordPress update around 30 of August. I thought it was Jetpack that was causing this problem but now I’m not sure anymore. I disabled “speed up image load times” since the pictures were not displaying anymore on the website. After disabling they reappeared but now I can’t share some (not all) posts to FB or Twitter anymore. The picture will not show when sharing. On my FB page in history, some posts have now a black picture. If I tried to “refresh share attachement” it will also not work.
I also tried to regenerate all thumbnails on the website. It also didn’t work.
I don’t know anymore what to try. Facebook debugger tool tells me “App Id is missing”.
I forgot to mention. We use: WP 5.5.1, NP v10.3.6.1. Instagram feeds worked before, but the latest theme update did not resolve this problem.

It has many blog posts. For most of the posts, the post template is selected at the post level.

Now I want to apply 1 standard template for all the posts. I understand that I can set a default let say ” template 1″. Does this template 1 will be applied to all the posts? I don’t think this default template will get applied on all the posts since I have already chosen different template while creating the post.
To Summarize: I just want to update all the posts with 1 standard template. how I can do that?
