Yes, the last version of Newspaper v10.3.6.1 is working correctly, this is compatible with WordPress v5.5, but before you make the update, please make a full backup to your website and database and only after that make the theme update -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
If the problem persists, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Well, I have updated the theme with the new version. And I have gone behind the scenes to increase my category count to 3000 per the instruction of the last web person. But on the pulldown menu using Flex Box 5, it does not show all of my categories! This is becoming increasingly frustrating. The developers of this theme need to start making it so that we can have as many categories as we want. Especially for those of us who are media professionals. We need to be able to add more categories. Please advise that you can make a change to the software. Thanks.

I updated to the latest version of Newspaper and my images on pages and posts are now not rendering, and my menus are rendering in a jumbled fashion and all skewed to far left of screen. My hosting company suggested that the theme may have overwritten/rewritten some of the WordPress config files and caused this error. Can you in any way diagnosis the problem on your end? I did try rolling back the theme to a couple of versions ago, but no luck – problem still persists. (I then reinstalled latest version). Here’s a link to my site: https://pabucketlist.com/

Hey all, I have updated to the most recent version, but my header logo resized and I’m having trouble getting my logo back at the top of my page. I’m using TD Composer and the default template for Newspaper. Any suggestions would be awesome. Seems like I’m missing something simple.

I can no longer publish on the forum because my support has expired but wanted to report this situation after the update, please let the team know:
– I have my theme updated in the latest version 10.3.6.1, and today I upgraded to the new wordpress 5.5, it turns out that the articles in SmartList have stopped working, basically paging no longer works, I click next or previous and does not advance, and urls /1,/2 do not work.

Hi jfox20, if you are using WordPres 5.5 you must use the last version of Newspaper, v10.3.6.1 if you do not have this version, please update the theme (make first a backup)-> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
If you have this version and the problem persists:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).

Please note that depending on the update type. Nothing is updateproof.
For example when Standard pack was implemented, all the files places have been changed. Therefore, not even the child theme was able to figure out where the new elements have been changed.
Also, all the settings from theme panel are stored in the database not in theme’s files.
Also please note that no matter what theme you are running, the best and the correct practice is to have a test website / localhost where you test everything you want before going on the live site. A full backup is required before any major updates. At the moment you can revert back to older updates from Newspaper – Updates.
