Ah ok, I didn’t realise the theme didn’t notify of updates. I’ve used the Envato Market method and updated the theme – everything is appearing now!

If you’ll enable the option, then you’ll use only the schema from the plugin you are using, in you case you’ll use the Yoast schema that is special made for seo, therefore you’ll get more visits (your site will be better rank).

Unfortunately there is a problem with the new option add in theme panel for disable the schema article, this interfere with preview draft, in order to fix this problem you’ll need to make some changes in theme file or deactivate the schema articles from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0E3IucACC You will have to check that in order to deactivate the schema, this issue will be fixed in the next update.

Then, is not new feature, If the new feature is set to work like this. People have been using cloud templates for a very long time..
So another month of work awaits for us to change all post’s templates.
This theme also lost its compitability with WPML too.. I can’t find solution with WPML devs and with you guys.
I had been very happy with the theme for a very long time but this cloud templates became a burden for news sites like us.
Just a suggestion. Please, push your updates while thinking your current clients who have more than thousands posts, trying to adapt your theme’s features. Updates are not only for acquiring new clients.

The option to set a cloud post template will work if the posts themselves are set to inherit from panel, that is how they are by default initially. I believe that is how the new option works for the time being. Maybe this will change in the future, can’t say for sure what will happen in coming updates.
We will have to make more tests regarding the WPML issue, it may take some time. Sorry again for the inconvenience.

Once that the view were set to 0 you can set theme back only if you have a database backup or if you set the view manual -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QrLJhZTtqAR or you can set the view count value for all the posts at once would be possible. For example using this function – https://pastebin.com/pKcWYFUt
The value can be changed, I set it to 1000. Enter it in the theme functions file. Refresh a post page and check if the views were updated. Then remove the function and the view should increase from the set value.

Other themes offer to install an update directly through WordPress dashboard. Like a message pop up saying , ‘new version available – update now’ and then I don’t need to do anything else.

If you are not using a child theme, every time when you’ll make a theme update, the changes made in the theme core will be removed.
The files for the standard templates 1-13 are set in this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single the path for the default post style is this one wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/loop-single.php

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
So in order to benefit from Newspaper X you’ll need to replace all the elements/blocks/templates with cloud templates, in this way the theme will load only the stile from these templates also all the blocks need to be replace with flex blocks after you change all standard elements with cloud elements you can deactivate the standard pack, after that the theme should load less style and it should become faster.

We have implemented newspaper 10 in our staging environment and we are using a WPBakery page builder for design. In our home page WPBakery post grid element is implemented (1st three blocks are the post grid element in below mentioned site) and due to that background image is not working. We are adding background image from Newspaper theme panel settings. Check attached screenshot. Only On the home page, we have used post grid element and due to that background image not showing, the rest of the page’s background image is working fine. This issue we are facing in recent WPBakery update 6.0 and 6.1. It is working fine with WPBakery 5.5.2.

I am having viewport error on my wp-content/uploads/ and that’s with 3 pages error. It started after updated theme. There was not there before. And i have not uploaded any plugin or change something for a long time.
Did try to deactivate all plugin and test it again it did not work.
I did research about no luck. Have you ever get this error from any other customers ?

I think they need to update it. I am facing the same issue
I switched to the new Newspaper X. The problem is that it is extremely slow. I cannot change or edit anything (templates, articles, pages) without losing the connection to the server or waiting for hours to load an article. Everything because of your update. I have thousands of users every day and your theme is full code that makes problem. Please fix it!

My post view count seems to have reset to zero either after the recent Newspaper Theme Update or on changing from WP Autoptimize cache plugin to WP Supercache.
Is there a way I can recover the post view counts that have been lost?

Hello,
I am having a big issue with the Newspaper theme. I (very) often have caching issues: I write an article, schedule it or publish it, and then, when I create a new one later on it overwrites the article I previously created (it uses the same URI and the other settings). Clearing my browser’s cache does not fix the issue. I do not use any caching plugin or caching services on my server.
I didn’t update the theme yet (I am going to very soon), however, I want to know if there is a way to avoid that issue (or even fix it).
