In order to make the tagDic Composer to work please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

Please add this code in the .htaccess , file at the end of the file:

</IfModule>

If there is still a problem after you set the requirements please deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again.

Also if you want to make an update to theme you can make a full backup to your website.

The update process for our theme would be the same as any other theme, nothing specific about it. A changelog can be seen in the themeforest page, at the bottom

Also each theme package contains the update log file – http://prntscr.com/ma2g2d

On themeforest only the latest version of the theme can be downloaded, you can always download it and check the update log inside it.

The theme version is displayed in the theme system status as you mention, also for example in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/ma2hsd
Or themes section – http://prntscr.com/ma2i9v

If you can specify why the theme update documentation is not intuitive or what it lacks, we will modify it and add more information. Please let us know.

That is a very old theme version, security risks would be present indeed. You should strongly consider to update to the latest version 9.2.2 and also the latest version of WordPress. That would be the best solution in this case.

There have been many optimizations made over the years, new features were added and of course security issues were resolved immediately when identified. Note the updated theme requirements guide as well

It would depend on what are the customizations you are planning to do. They may work properly or they may cause problems. If you want to modify theme files you could use a child theme, these are the files that can be modified in a child theme

Note that if theme files are modified directly (in the main theme) these modifications will be lost after a theme update when the files will be replaced.

Also to take into account is that a modification that will work now, may not work in the future.

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it to a value of double you already have if possible.

If there is still some problems, make sure that you have the last version of theme, and all theme plugins are updated; deactivate tagDiv Composer until you make/edit the revolution slider, after you make the changes that you need, and you save the slider, activate the tagDiv Composer ( or you can make this revolution slider on localhost and import it to live website ).
