Kindly assist me with this, I observed that the Whatsapp icon does not display when I try to share a post from the website, it shows. What could be responsible for this?

I do not see the whatsapp icon when sharing,
Even if you have activated it in the sharing options, the icon does not appear. and when adding any other appears without any problem.

I do not exactly understand what you want to achieve, sorry! Provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it. Also, notice that the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the title color for Whatsapp when a post is shared on this social media.

I’ve changed the image to a new one with the correct size of the website, and it keeps beeing zoomed. Whatsapp is a mobile first app and requires the actual whatsapp installed on mobile device to work, which is why its hidden on desktop.
Tagdiv might have a hack to change that for you, but that is why you dont see whatsapp option on any major site when viewing on desktop.

Make sure you are viewing on mobile, as whatsapp doesnt show on desktop view intentionally…

It does not work fully. I’ve activated whatsapp and it won’t show up, that’s why I temporarily used another plugin, but I’d rather use the one in the system. Can you please tell me why that one isn’t working. I’d reactivated the native on the theme and deactivated the other one.

So an author page which does not contain any image will display that image instead. I am not aware of any modification to be made to affect only whatsapp, maybe there are some suggestions online if that is even possible. It may not be.

Hi,
That should not be a problem, the Yoast SEO plugin should add all the necessary meta to the source of the page. This should be then picked up when sharing.
If you use additional sharing plugins or plugins with sharing capabilities, please deactivate them temporarily as a quick test and check again. Or just deactivate them all quickly (except theme plugins) and try the share with WhatsApp. Let us know the results.

I just tried to shared my post on mobile by clicking on whatsapp icon, and it only shares the title text, not the link of the post.
