Hello!
Yes, WPML is tested with our theme.
Thank you!
Thanks Bettina.
Is WPML plugin fully supported by Newspaper theme? Please confirm.
I have requested for a quote from your customization team.

Hello,
If I understood you correctly use mobile page template and WPML. If so, you must have a mobile page made for each language (it must be made untranslated).
I also remember that you had some problems with mobile page template and WPML, one of my colleagues met a similar case and solved it by email.
If you agree, please make a backup on the website and contact us at contact@tagdiv.com, provide wp-admin access and include the link in this topic to identify you. We will try to solve the problems as soon as possible.
Thank you!
I think I found the issue.
in cloud templates Ive no english version for home page somehow.
but if I check home page in Gutenberg editor – I have english WPML version of the home page. Somehow I lost the mapping in TagDiv. Don’t know how. As the result now, I see correct version of the home page in all languages except English. How can I fix it?
#2: post mobile pages in all languages shows desktop versions still.
what I found, actually….. the mobile theme works for the main language, not for translations. I’m using WPML.
clod age template of Newspaper version 11 looks differently than on this image
Can you update this guide pls?
Newspaper version: 11.5.1
I have templates set for my main site language. How I can copy them to other languages I have for my website?
I don’t see templates in Pages section, only ‘footer mobile’ (don’t know why).
If I change the language, Cloud templates pave shows me no templates and I have the only one option – download from cloud, but I dont need to download, I want to translate mine.

Hello Jorge!
Try to use a plugin to translate that. Check this guide: https://wpusermanager.com/article/254-translating-wp-user-manager-data-with-wpml/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!

Thank you!
Hi there,
do you have a manual how to add WPML languages switcher with flags on the all post and page header?
Is it possible to add switcher in a few clicks, or should I dive into PHP code in this case?
I’ve read this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
and this one
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/create-multilingual-wordpress-websites-using-the-newspaper-theme-and-wpml/
but couldn’t find anything about languages menu mention. 🙁
Hello!
Please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
You can import our RTL templates for Arabic from Cloud Templates, also you can duplicate the template like this https://prnt.sc/g4ZvZzMW-3tK and assign the one you like.
Thank you!
Hi there,
We are working on the bilingual blog, Turkish and Arabic lang option by using WPML plugin and we are using London News PRO as the base template. We have a problem with Arabic styling such as for single post template, the sidebar still stick on the right and the header title looks weird.
1. How to duplicate single post template and make it specific for arabic version when visitor switch the lang to arabic.
2. How to duplicate others cloud template (Header, footer etc) and and assign it to only specific lang version. For the example, we have to footer template, footer template A for Turkish and footer template B for Arabic.
Here is some links for your reference.
https://blogtrstg.wpengine.com/ar/qnet-أفضل-جودة-كشركة-بيع-مباشر/
– This is Arabic content, sidebar should be on the left. Title area and sharing button looks weird. And we want a different set of header and footer template where we can edit without affecting the Turkish version.
https://blogtrstg.wpengine.com/qnet-en-quality-dogrudan-satis-sirketi-odulunun-sahibi/
– This is the Turkish version of the same content.
Thank you.
Hello,
unfortunately, only wpml is tested with the theme, the other translation plugins don’t and I don’t know where the problem could be.
Please do a test only with tagDiv plugins and Gtranslate and see if it works.
Thank you!
Very good, see if you can help me, I am designing a newspaper with your theme. The case is that I use GTranslate and I have the flags of the different languages in the subheader.
The problem is that in the news articles, I have it configured so that if you scroll down, more news are displayed (up to 5). But with GTranslate, it doesn’t load the websites, it only shows one. I deactivate the translator and the infinite loading in the articles works……
You advise to use WPML. But as I read, it says that the theme will only translate the theme elements to the new language. The content itself must be created separately for each particular language.
Can you give me an option?
Thank you very much
There’s a problem or conflict with WPML and Cloud Templates, exactly in the templates “My account” (all of them).
I have tested them and there’s a problem
Image: https://martincid.com/newspaper_problem.png
When I deactivate WPML, the template works perfectly and I’m quite sure it’s a conflict with your this template. If you can help me to resolve it, it would be great. If not… well, you should know it.
The others templates works fine (I think).
Thanks for everything and have a nice day.
Hi, I deactivated all plugins as suggested. The issue was the WPML plugin (3.5.7 version). Fortunately, today the update to version 3.5.8 was released which fix the issue. Now everything works correctly! Thank you and have a good day!
Hello,
If the problem is with WPML, then this fix will be introduced in the next plugin update.
Thank you!
Hello,
You need to create a template for each language, and in this way, you can change the translation with tagDiv Composer. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
Thank you!
It is a known issue with WPML. Here is the fix for WordPress 6.0:
https://wpml.org/errata/wp-6-0-issues-with-terms-assigned-to-posts/
Hello!
This query is on the list and we will update the documentation with the new interface also as soon as possible. You can use the help from WPML guide, but please check the guide with the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello,
Normally when you switch to the second language everything should change, including the posts in that language.
You can check our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
Thank you!
