Right now, I upload a featured image which is annoying. Can I have Newspaper use the first image on my post to display as the related posts thumbnail?

Thanks for the response. I didn’t read anything about using the first image in my post as the related post thumbnail though. Am I overlooking it?

I believe this is a misunderstanding. Setting a featured image or video for each post is a necessary thing to do, in order to display thumbnails on different elements. The theme will create the thumbnails that will represent the post on modules/blocks/grids from that featured image

At the moment there is no option to automatically pick the first image from the post content and use it as featured. These images have to be set manually.
