I have created top menu items, I also created categories but when I try to create new news items, I am having trouble connecting top menu items to the topic so when I click a menu at top, I am having trouble adding the news item into the top menu or categories, is there a way to have a dummy Newsmag content and then I would be able to just edit the dummy content so in admin I can see how everything works? I am having so much trouble trying to setup so if you could create a dummy site on my server so I can just edit the content to my own?

I have added categories to the theme and they are showing as menu items at top of page however, when I add an item, say in history, the post is not showing in that category see my site page then you can suggest what to do, if you can upload a dummy site to my word press site or advise as I am getting into a mess with this and paid a lot of money for the theme it’s doing my head in to say the least

Is there any way you can install the demo version and edit the categories to work with the heading menu as I am totally confused to say the least? I don’t mind paying extra for the help

Sorry, I have installed the demo but still can’t find a way to change the top header menu with the menu items I want and also how to add pages to the categories in the header if you get what I mean? Layout is perfect but getting the menu working with categories etc, I’m going round in circles at the moment, I would ask for a bit of extra support and I can pay you if you can edit the things needed to get me off the ground?

Let’s say that you want to make a new menu and to set it in your website, for this you need to go in Appearance > Menus there you can select to edit an existent menu or to create a new one -> https://i.imgur.com/6QgN3yV.png after that you need to add elements in your menu. OK I have managed to set menu and works but when you first click the site home
There is a Trending Now notice under the menu, great but when you click on a link to go to that category, the Trending now notice changes to show menu items under the menu if you follow, how can I have the Trending now notice appear at top of the site under menu on all pages as this is more useful than the sub menu?
Hope you are following me on this?

Sorry, I now know it’s called a news ticker, how do I show this on all pages rather than a sub menu? Things are getting clearer now
