I received the following error message when I attempted to install the Newspaper theme in WordPress:

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme installation failed.
Can you please help me correct this?

You are probably uploading the whole theme package. You have to upload only the theme zip file, not the whole package which contains other items
