Hi,
URL : http://www.guinee-news.info
I am having issues with regards of the display of posts and categories. The footer appears on the right sidebar instead.
I checked all the Posts/Categories templates settings but I can’t find the issue.
Can you verify that for me ?
Regards,
KSangoyah
Hi,
I do not see any problems with your sidebars or footer sections. You can add content to the footer in these locations – https://www.screencast.com/t/KlYPnsPpHMe More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ You can add content to the sidebar the same way if you use a widgetised sidebar – https://www.screencast.com/t/D4fhQlzJF or in Visual composer page structure if you use a split row sidebar – https://www.screencast.com/t/MRwBn0HBDVX
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for the quick response. However I meant that when you display either a post (i.e.: http://guinee-news.info/penurie-de-carburant-a-coyah-a-fin-de-galere/) or a category (i.e.: http://guinee-news.info/category/interviews/), there are te following issues:
1. No Footer as in http://guinee-news.info/ (at the bottom);
2. Instead EDITOR PICKS, Weather Widget and ABOUT US are showing on the sidebar in both the post and category.
NOTE: EDITOR PICKS, Weather Widget and ABOUT US are already setup in my footer section.
Thank you,
KSangoyah
Hi,
It seems that due to some customization or by some other action, the html structure of the theme is broken. I would suggest to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check to see if the problem is still there. If that does not fix this, please try to make a fresh install using the latest version of the theme and the required plugins. Here is a tutorial to guide you through the update process – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
Hi,
This is a strange problem. A theme re-install should resolve the problem but it seems the issue has been carried along. Please use this method to make a fresh install
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Also deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin from the plugins section and leave only Visual composer active, the tagDiv editor is activated from the moment you updated the theme.
If you are using a child theme switch to the main theme, also check or remove any custom code you might have entered in the theme panel custom code sections.
If after you install the theme as mentioned and following all the advice, the issue is not resolved, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
