Hi, I am wanting to make a homepage to make my site look more professional and less like a blog. I installed the demo for News Magazine and want my site to look near identical but with my own categories and such. How would I go about making my homepage just like it? Would I just have to start from scratch with Visual Composer or is there any easier way? Thanks!

Please notice that each demo has own design style and if you want to use the News Magazine style, you will have to install this demo without content and then you can create all your own content or you can install the demo with the content and then edit this with your content but please notice that this last way is not fully recommended because in the future, you will want to change this layout and you disable this demo, you will loose all the data and while if you create your own content (not editing the existing one), all of this will have loaded in the database.

I was about to place the same question. So there is no way to use a demo as a base for an existing working blog, no way to “import” data to a demo installation?
Side question: I don’t see the News Magazine demo in the demos list in my installation… how do I get it anyway?

I am using the latest version. But I only see 9 demos and I don’t have the right column with the quick install.

Current theme’s version available on themeforest is V 7.3 so try to download it and update it again following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Also make sure that you update Visual Composer and social Counter plugins at newer version included in theme’s patch: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ After the update process is completed clear all caches, purge cdn files then try to install a demo again.
