Hi. So I run parker-marker.com on Shopify and decided to switch to wordpress. I haven’t migrated my site from shopify to wordpress yet. I would like to fully put all my content on wordpress then redirect the domain name servers from shopify to my wordpress site. I bought the newsmag theme for my new WordPress site but am hesitant to register yet because the site is just on a free domain and server at parker-marker.infinityfreeapp.com. If I set up the registration now, I can complete the website redesign but will I be screwed when I export the website and then publish it on parker-marker.com. I wasn’t sure if the registration will be stuck to the url I currently have. (parker-marker.infinityfreeapp.com) Can I get some guidance on if I install it right now then export it, will it still work and can I register it for the domain parker-marker.com?

Now, if that website will be transfer on the live one, then you can use a plugin for migration and there will no longer be need to rest the theme key and reactivating it, this will be transfer with t e entire website. -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-wordpress-migration-plugins-compared/

Do you offer phone support? Also, I added blogs to the site. When I add the theme, will it delete the blogs?
Hi Bennettheyn, unfortunately we can not provide support on phone, only on forum and email.
I think that when you say blogs you are referring to posts, if is so, and the posts are made by you, then will not be lost. Also, if you migrate the website using a migrate plugin, those posts will also be migrated to the new website.

So there is an option for design only or including content when I am going to install the theme. I want to include all of my new posts but not any of the premade theme posts. Should I click design only or the include content

Hi Bennettheyn, when you import only the demo settings, then indeed this will not look like in our demos. When you import it with content then are imported pages and posts, for example, when it is installed without content there are no pages and no posts. Now you have your own posts, but you need the homepage. I think that we can try like this. Keep the demo imported without content and take from here the homepage code. Just copy it and past it in a new page, after that set it as your static homepage and set te page template like this https://i.imgur.com/ukGVV07.png. Then you’ll need to edit it with tagDiv Composer and change the filters from the blocks using your categories.
