Man, I tried reinstalling an older version of the theme so I could try one of the solutions here and it won’t even let me. I’ve tried. This whole theme is completely screwed. I went to sleep after trying to fix this last night hoping in the morning some code on their end would be fixed or at least a support message would be in my email. Nothing. Geez. I just feel so humiliated by this. Extremely unprofessional and now I need to spend who knows how long redesigning my website with another theme.
How to reset the key, when I cannot access my site socbib.dk? I have payed for the theme, and used it for several years?
I fixed it earlier this morning an now the error is back again.

My website won’t even allow me to re-install previous versions. I tried! So not even that is working. This whole thing is such a nightmare.
Sae here – none of the solutions being offered up are working for us. We still have this incredibly damaging black page with a message saying the newspaper licence theme is NOT REGISTERED ON THIS WEBSITE.
THIS IS LITERALLY DESTROYING US.
I tried to activate another theme to just display some message like “down for maintenance” or stuff, now my whole WordPress is broken with a critical error.
‘RELAX BRO’ – this is offensive. This is our livelihood and we still don;t have our site back despite resetting the codes multiple times. Meanwhile no one from envato seems to be addressing this massive issue.
We’ll ‘Relax bro’ once this has been professionally addressed by someone.

Managed to activate standard WordPress theme so that I can display my own error text.
This is so annoying.

The Newspaper theme verifies your license key with the Envato API. If you already have a license activated on your website yet the website displays the notice LICENSE KEY IS NOT REGISTERED please follow the steps below:
1. First please make sure the theme is activated with the license key from your Envato Themeforest account https://tagdiv.com/how-to-activate-the-newspaper-theme/
2. If the theme was activated, please reset the theme activation from the Theme Panel – > System Status https://i.imgur.com/7Ktmd1e.png and clear the cache.
3. If there is a problem or the issue remains, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will provide a solution.
The “LICENSE KEY IS NOT REGISTERED” notice on your website is due to a possible communication error with Envato API. We are sorry if this caused you any inconvenience and we are doing the best in our power to overcome this issue.

If you have problem, you should reset the theme activation from the Theme Panel – > System Status https://i.imgur.com/7Ktmd1e.png and clear the cache.
If you don’t know how to log in without an admin button link from your website then type your website URL and then /admin. Example: blaahmysitebklaah.com/admin and then log in.
Also, this is actually not TagDiv issue but Envato issue, they messed up everything. It appears only if you use Envato automatic system. If you download files manually and install it manually then you don’t have an issue like that.
This incident shows AGAIN that users/developers should not use Envato! Stay away as much as possible from Envato.
edragon, it’s not like you say. Let’s start from the fact that I am the first not to have used automatic systems of envato, but I uploaded the zip file manually; having said that, it certainly hasn’t been envato to insert a script that obscures the home page in the theme. We must not defend the indefensible.
Mine is working, but my advertisers and sponsors were not happy. It made everything look amateur.
I hope this is resolved.
I believe that if we pay for registration kep, we are cut off from these problems and are independent.

Log in to FTP and rename the following folders in “wp-content/plugins”. td-comproser -> td-comproser2 and td-cloud-library – td-cloud-library2. Then you can login to your admin panel.
This kind of message is unacceptable!!! TagDiv – this is not your website, you can display whatever you want on it. A few hours of downtime causes more damage than the cost of buying your shitty theme!!!
