Are there any white papers for mobile theme best practices? Google is emphasising a lot on its speed and design.
At the moment the Newspaper mobile theme is slow even on dedicated servers. Even after using the best Chache plugins, the mobile theme is slow in Google light speed tests.
Feedback – hope next NewsPaper update will bring greater fresher optimisations to Mobile Theme as well. As the current mobile theme seems to be an orphaned/ step child/ part of the NewsPaper theme. While other makers are regularly bringing fresh updates and making mobile themes faster and better for Google.

I recommend creating mobile pages and templates and disabling the mobile theme plugin.
Also, if you run ads on your website, I recommend using the WP Rocket plugin to optimize the scripts.
