Newspaper Theme completely erased

I updated my site to V11 and shortly after had several theme plugins mysteriously deactivate themselves. I reactivated and all was good. Then a week later, same thing but this time, the theme says it’s not activated, and I’ve also lost ALL theme options, ALL client ads, ALL Custom CSS, the list goes on and on, it’s basically a fresh install of Newspaper… the only things left on my site are my 3rd party plugins and post content.

Reading through the forum this seems to be a very buggy release. I have daily backups but every restored backup has the same exact issue.

Any advice?

Hi Yes I have tried restoring from server backup and restoring Newspaper settings export. Neither works. I tried reverting to V10.xx and that doesn’t allow me to reimport settings either. I have copies of my CSS so was able to get that back but I’ve lost all custom widgets, footer, header, thumbnails, basically my entire site is completely broken.

I have made sure all plugins are installed several times.

Hosting with Siteground and they no longer have cpanel access. But this issue doesn’t seem to be unique to me, there are MANY posts here in the forumn of the same or similar issue.

I have an export of my theme options from a week ago. When I try to import it, I get the following error message:

Imported data is not valid. Failed to update the theme settings.

I have already attempted to reinstall the theme and plugins via FTP. I also have daily server backups but even when I restore to a date prior to the upgrade to 11, my theme options are gone.

Having the same issues as cc.mark. I did go in and activate the Standard pack plugin but I’m still unable to edit the header, footer and many other theme panel customization options. It totally wiped out everything I customized after installing a PRO cloud prebuilt.
