I friend who has a SEO agency just ran me a SEO check up and noticed that my articles/pages where quite “heavy in code”.
If Google recommend a 50 octets text/code size, mine is around 150-180.
What is your take on it ?
I though it might be the code of theme itself ?
How can i reduced this number to get as close as i can to 50 ?
It appears to be important for loading page speed.

I do not know for sure what you refering to hard to code, if is about the SEO, then you can use Yoast SEO -> https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/
Also you can try to make one more test with a default WordPress theme.
