I just purchased the Newspaper 7 theme and I love it. It really is on of the best theme out there. I just have 2 questions:
1. I am still testing the theme on a staging environment on my hosting platform. When I decide what exactly I would like to do with the theme, I will delete the staging version and start over again with the official building of my site and put it life. My question is should I activate the theme while I am testing it? Can I activate it again when I do the official redesign of the site ?
2. The Visual Composer plugin asks me to activated it. Should I do that while testing or should I do that on the final version ?

1)Please keep in mind that you should activate the theme after you have installed on your website, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
2)Most likely, you are referring to the message which appears on the plugins area when a new plugin version is released, right? This is mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
The bundled version of the plugin does not have an activation code and you cannot update it automatically through WordPress.

You should make a full backup after deleting your website and then you can re-install the according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Notice that all of your created data will be loaded into your database and then after your theme installing, all of these will be re-loaded into your fresh install.
