I am unable to disable the default, grey, Newspaper 12, ads in my ad areas.
Hello
The demo you are using can be edited integrally using tagDiv Composer https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ you can use it to edit pages and cloud template to add/remove what you mean.
Here are some video guides – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg&list=PL6CsDkMaejhoHETIWoxnRB4zefz8L8PYg
Here is our documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Thank you!
This doesnt answer my question at all. I specifially want to remove the grey default ads. Your videos didn’t help me.
How can I disable the default ads on my Newspaper 12 theme?
Hi,
If you are referring to ads like those https://i.imgur.com/ONQwW01.png those are set in ad box elements with tagDiv Composer. An ad box element can display the ads set in the theme panel – ads settings – https://i.imgur.com/aS4irEZ.png – https://i.imgur.com/drbG6FM.png but can also be set directly in ad box element, for banners in image ad tab – https://i.imgur.com/OXK8QE2.png and for code ad in custom ad tab – https://i.imgur.com/ecWqOmO.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
Thank you for this. My ad placements are not contained within the. “Ad box” element. They’re contained within an element that I can’t access and seems to be hidden behind a CSS element.
I went to my Ads settings and disabled all the ads, and yet they still display. Please advise on how I can proceed to solve this.
Hello ekpenworld, can you please provide a screenshot to a page/article where the ad is still display? I check the website and now I no longer see any ads.
Hi Thoiba, please provide some more details and screenshots with the problem you are having. If possible please reply only here https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagtiv-composer-not-working/
Thank you!
here is a link to a photo showing the ads that wont go away. I see them on desktop, mobile, etc. they’re always there and need to go away. I can’t access them from the TagDiv editor, the element’s details are hidden somehow.
Hi,
Those can both be removed by editing the post template with the composer. They are ad boxes with an image set https://prnt.sc/0XPoqh-bvTNd the other one too https://prnt.sc/cpQ66Vf6JYF_ The images can be removed or just remove the ad boxes themselves.
But if these ad boxes are not visible in the composer, then it’s quite unusual. We will take a closer look, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website. We will get to the bottom of the issue.
Thanks.
Thank you. I have just sent you the admin login to my website. Please let me know if you need anything else.
