I keep getting this error when I try to install the plugin. I have unzipped it, and even deleted the whole theme and retried it. I saw on a couple forum pages where it said to do it through an FTP? I have no idea what that is, and I purchased this theme because it said one click install. I am new to all of this. Please help!!

Ok, I have never used FTP and this tutorial doesn’t tell me what the host, username, password and port are. I am still very confused, and I thought this installation would be much easier than this.
Am I putting in my website as the host or wordpress? And is the login what I’d use on their site to get into my admin panel?

You must use a FTP client to access your server and the wordpress files. If you are not sure what login information is needed you could ask your hosting provider for clarifications. Here is some useful information about managing your site with FTP – https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_FileZilla

Hello again Simion, I have watched tutorials and tried Filezilla and Cuteftp and I am still not having any luck. Can I get some assistance installing through FTP or a refund? My website has been on hold entirely since I’ve been trying to figure this out. It is currently beyond my expertise.

Ok, I’ll send an email. Visual Composer has never shown up in my theme. It will not install at all, even though it is saying the folder already exists. When I go to FTP, I have deleted the entire theme and reinstalled it again. When that didn’t work, I tried to uninstall the visual composer and then reinstall it. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I have tried the zipped file and the unzipped file. I will send an email with the login info.
