Update: My problem is fixed. Or to be more clearly – it was no problem. It just needed some time to resync with the facebook api server. So my fan-counter is working fine now.
Have a nice sunday π

Hello there …
I have even created a completely new facebook-app to be sure, that it uses the newest api version from facebook (2.5). But still the facebook counter shows 0 Fans.
I of course have cleaned the chache of my site …
Ideas? π
Best regards π
Hi Bogdan,
I must admit, that my upgrade to version 6+ is a while ago. The Facebook counter worked until a few days ago. I did not change any line of code since then. So i don’t think, that this has got something to do with the update.
I wrote this, because I was happy to see, that there was an update of the theme (a few days ago – or yesterday?). So i of course updated theme and plugins right away – in hope, that the facebook counter will work again.
But even after this update – i does not. So i have replaced all old social counter widgets with a new one. But no result …
Hello Bogdan – hello Team π
I have updated the theme to the newest version. Also I made the update for the social counter plugin. But the Facebook likes are still not shown on http://www.1-2-family.de …
Best regards

Hi Lucian,
thank you for your feedback! π
The theme continuously grows up from premium to deluxe. π

Hi Lucian and Tagdiv-Team! …
I have to agree with danoah. My magazine is growing fine and it becomes quite complex right now. A sidewide system for unique articles would be more than awesome!
For example:
You are reading the newest article of our magazine. On the sidebar there are widgets like “newest articles” – most favourite within the last 7 days … and so on … Sometimes one article is shown up to three times within the “single.php” (including sidebars and footer widgets) …
And this does not look like a professional magazine, then … π
As you know – I just love your theme! But this is really a MUST HAVE feature for a magazine and online-newspaper.
So please, it really would be awesome, if the tagdiv team could find a quick solution for this! π
Warmest regards,
Torsten
noone?
hi everyone …
i have seen the page megamenu option in the manual og the new theme version. the thing is, that i do undestand how to integrate a page via it’s id into the menu. but what i do NOT understand is, what i would have to do with a page to show up the things i would like to see …
i (of course guess) that i will have to create a page π … But whats next?
———————
So i have tried to install (once again) the uber menu. And i must say, that i came just a few steps more ahead than in my past unsuccessfull tests. I made it appear in my main menu. and it shows up as its configured now. that is really a success for my skill-level! π
But: i do have a problem with a “double-menu” on mobile devices. i cannot find out how to unattach the uber menu from mobile devices. I have found the link to the integration manual on the uber website. but this integration is for the old version of the theme. so i cannot “simply” uncheck the uber menu for my mobile menu, as described there.
the old theme version had 4 menu locations? (header, main, footer, mobile) is that correct? and version 6 only has three of them? (header, main, footer)
so there is no more specific mobile location menu in version 6? how could i get rid off the uber menu on other devcices than desktop an tablet versions of my site?
best regards π

The problem is solved!
The Wp-Seo-Pro plugin from Yoast has got an option, to completely deactivate the author archive! And THIS was the problem. I did misunderstood this option as it is not translated into german yet .. So it was activated. After deactivating this option, the author pages are running fine ! π
So thank you all for your patience and your nice tips and help! π π
Torsten
All possible links to the author page are redirected to the homepage of the magazine.
Even when clicking the author name under the article title (next to the article date).
as far as i cam see there are no bad or strange characters in the names. and it happens with all authors.
for example here is an article written by me:
http://www.1-2-family.de/gesundheit-und-pflege/hausmittel-gegen-erkaeltungen-bei-kindern/
But .. i dont know how to find out which plugin would cause a conflict …
best regards and thank you so far! π
torsten
Hi Chris,
thank you for the seo tip! π
The thing is, that when i click on the author box under an article, that it redirects me to the startpage of our magazine. And not to the author page …
Hello everyone! π
Our site is a german languaged magazine for parents and family. Our topics are helpful tipps and stuff involving babies and children. We really love the abilities this theme gives us. It’s the perfect combination of beeing able to write informative (good looking) texts and having the structure of an online magazine.
I must admit, that we are having a bit troubles with pagespeed. But this is because of my non-professional tech- knowledge. Within the next months we would like to invest a lot of time to get a forum online. The bbpress integration of the theme will hopefully help us with that! π
You can take a look into our site here: http://www.1-2-family.de
Warmest regards to everyone! π

It looks like, that the problem is fixed. i have deactivated all unused parts of the jetpack. Now it works as it should.
But: now i have a speed problem. files are not loading as they should. look here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/site-slow-two-files-involved/
You’re welcome @gurneet63 ! π
Hi Lucian,
sorry for my late reply. I have reinstaled the visual composer – and also I deactivated some addons for it, which were not in une so far. And it seems, that things are okay right now.
Thank you for your support on this …
Best regards
Torsten
In the meantime:
Here is quite a good plugin, which works fine for me. Try this – it’s free π
Hi thanks for your reply ….
the thing is, that I can see these non breaking spaces in the text editor (after hitting the enter button friom within the visual editor), but it does not have any effect. This really happens since i have done the update from ultimatetinymce to wpedit.
this may be not the reason for it. but the old version of the plugin had a button for these linebreaks. and it worked fine.
This option would be awesome !!! π
Hi there …
Thank you very much! This helps us π
But just for asking the question … Did you see something strange in our code, which may have caused this?
I am asking this, because I saw a thread about the visual composer, which seems to cause some issues right now.
Of course my Homepage is built with it. So maybe these gaps have been caused by the composer?
Best regards

hi again …
I have found this thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/white-spaces-and-ad-problems/
It helps a bit … but not all elements on the site are fixed. And it does not seem to be a final solution.
This issue came from out of nowhere … Yesterday everything was fine – and today I saw all the white spaces between and under the site’s elements.
Best regards

Hi,
unfortunately this option does not help me. I mean the background for the content parts. Although i was thinking now that this would not be the best solution. SO i think i will try to find the class for the input fields within wordpress. And will try to change the colour of these fields. This would look nicer …
Thanks so far …
Torsten
Hi …
what about the background for the main content area? Is this changeable?Maybe I could darken it a bit. So the form-fields are better viewable.
But if this is not possible – i will take a look into the css …
warmest regards
Torsten
Hello,
absolutely true. It was the “search everything” plugin. After deactivation the search results are showing up as they should.
This plugin never made any problems in the past (with other themes) … So i just did not even think of it! π
Thank you very much! π
There is another question, that i have. But i will post a new thread for it. Just because it’s an absolutely different topic π
Thank you again π
Warmest regards
Torsten
Hi,
thanks for this fast reply. I am quite shure, that i made no changes regarding the get_image function. But i am absolutely sure, that i did not change the td_module_search.php.
I must admit, that i can see this “bug or incompatibility” for quite along while now. I just had not found the time to report this. To be honest I think it was there from the beginning.
And as fas I can see, this really only happes on search results …
Warmest regards
Torsten
ok …
just found out, that i had to resave my permalink structure. after changing to the new theme, it just needed another saving.
things are working fine now.
thanks π
