My admin options do not look like that. I do not have the “Editor” under “Appearance”, instead, I have “Install plugins” for ALL of the 4 sites I run with your theme. I used to have what you show me on the screenshot, but I do not have it anymore… I use NEWSMAG, not NEWSPAPER as shown on your screenshot.

Please advise.

Just noticed, with the new code, once the mouse is moved down the sub-menu, the colour of the main menu item goes back to white.

I am not “understanding” actually.

All the time you wasted talking over me could have been used solving the problem. Your “solution” with the refund is frankly ridiculous and offensive.

If you were a bit more concerned with customer service, you would have noticed that MANY online newspapers’ and magazines’ websites have the stretched and fixed on top main menu feature that I have spent so much time begging for here. See http://nypost.com, or http://nytimes.com to name a couple! Are you maybe not following current design trends for the type of websites you offer templates for?

I do not know if you are a developer or an owner, but your response is both inappropriate in terms of common business sense and meaningful customer service.

And again, if the solution you provide is non-working because of prior customization (actually my site does not have customization other than fixing the position of the logo and stretching the main menu, which by the way should be better managed by your template, but they are not), that means that either you or the other developers who have responded are providing bugged code.

And please, do not offend my limited intelligence by quoting your site’s policies as if a policy is not flexible enough to cater to your paying customer’s BASIC and MEANINGFUL requests, which are in line with current design and technical trends, then those policies are as good as crap.

All the custom code has been provided to me by people in this forum. I did not invent it myself. What that means is that the code provided is incorrect and bugged.

Thanks, but i am not going to scrap the identity of my sites that i built so far and revert to the limited options the theme provides in terms of main menu display. Asking for a stretchable and working mainmenu the way i have it is not much and should be added by the developers for flexibility and convenience.

The last code you were kind to provide is not working properly and that causes the magnifying glass to move, not the prior customizations.

The stretched main menu breaks and the color line above it disappears when you scroll down the page and as soon as they hit the upper border of the screen. How can they stay stretched all the time without breaking in the case of the main menu and without disappearing in the case of the color line above it?

Thanks for the response, but your observation and conclusion are incorrect.

If you open each of my site in 3 tabs on the same browser – one following the other, starting with http://pavlikeni.com, http://velikotarnovo.com and 3rd (the problematic one) http://sevlievo.com, then activate the first tab and focus on the relative position of the weather icon, then go to the 2nd tab (you will observe no change in position), and when you click on the 3rd tab you will see that the weather icon is a bit to the left.

The start of the top menu should be identical on all regardless the content to follow, as that content displays from left to right… The starting point should be all the same. The point you make about weather location being of different length also is also incorrect as pavlikeni is not as long as veliko tarnovo (written in Cyrillic on the weather menu for the first 2 tabs).

Not to mention the sevlievo.com top menu WAS too much below the top edge of the site and another user offered custom code above to fix that so it lines correctly on the vertical with the other two sites.

The 3 sites are IDENTICAL in terms of custom CSS and this problem is inexplicable to me.

Why is the back-end showing that all themes are current here: http://……/wp-admin/update-core.php? Does your theme not have a “call home” function to allow for easy and user-friendly updates?

Again, I know – I am a stupid user, as I have already come to realize. Regardless, I do not have to be a programmer to mindlessly post my articles. Your theme is what a low grade user like me sees – its admin panel, its front end, etc. If that is the case, which it is, I suggested that you suggest to users like me, which are also paying customers of yours, options for meaningful protection beyond the colours, the bells and the whistles. It will also save you time dealing with people like me on issues as the discussed one.
