Hello Andrei,

Please address the issue I have with the position of the magnifying glass icon of the search function on the main menu. It spills over on a new line, which should not be the case.

Thanks,
Peter

Hello again,

I managed to fix the logo and ad issues, but cannot fix the position of the magnifying glass in the main menu row. It spills to a new row and should not.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Peter

Hello again,

It seems you have made changes to the style.css file, which contains custom coding and you have never updated this file before.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

Thank you very much, it works.

Maybe you can include that in your next releases, because I think visually, the template looks better after the change.

Peter

Hello Andrei,

Thanks, that works, however I noticed that when placing the code fixing the position of the magnifying glass (the search tool):

@media
(min-width: 768px){
#td-top-search {
margin-top: 0px!important;
position: initial;
}
}

that kills the links and drop-down menus associated with the top main menu items. When I remove the code above, they work, but the search tool goes off to the right again.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

Thanks, it works.

Did you notice that those lines contract back to the old size once you scroll down the page? Can they remain unchanged with the scrolling?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

I am sorry but not sure where to put the last code you sent. I have the 1st set in the Custom CSS.

Please advise (unfortunately I am not a programmer).

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

Yes, that is exactly what I had in mind. It would make sense to work identically both on posts and pages. I look forward to the eventual update you might release.

Thanks,
Peter

Thank you, that worked great!

Hello and thank you for your response.

It partially works because the magnifying glass (for searching the site’s content is left too far out to the right) and also, because when you scroll down, that entire line containing the menu, etc. (that you extended to the left and right) contracts back again (when sticking to the top).

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

Thanks for your respnse. I updated the script to the latest one you provided a few days ago and this is when the issue presented itself.

I am not a programmer and cannot fix the site the way you suggest. I am sure I am not the only person affected now or in the future.

Please advise who could help for a one-time fee, because, again, I am not a programmer and cannot fix.

Thanks,
Peter

Hello,

Thanks for the response, but saying that your demo is not infected yet does not mean it cannot be infected. I have done nothing but automatically update to your latest version and WP got in this state.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

Go to all pages, find your homepage and edit it. Find Homepgae latest articles and click on the 2nd tab Posts loop settings. Locate Limit post number and input the desired number of articles to appear…

Hello,

I managed to change the grid display for my categories, as seen here: http://pavlikeni.com/category/news/, but why can I not do it for the HOMEPAGE here: http://pavlikeni.com? Where in the admin panel do I change for the homepage?

Thanks,
Peter

Hello,

Thanks for the response, but you completely misunderstood me. The solution you provide adds a “0” in front of single digit dates. My problem is that the date on the top left hand corner of the pages shows SEPTEMBER 09, 2015, when the date of my latest article shows 9 september, 2015. I have the date format set as j F, Y. The article date shows correctly, but the date on the top left hand corner of the site does not and this is the problem.

Thanks,
Peter

Hello,

I absolutely do not have what you show on your screenshot. Please advise.

Thanks,

Hello,

Where are those settings you show on the screenshot? It seems they are under Pages, but I have no such options on my end – just a list of pages on the site.

Thanks,
Peter

Hello,

I see you released an update to the theme, but this problem was not addressed? When will this be fixed?

Thanks,
Peter

Thanks, but is the update going to mess up my customizations?

Thanks,
Peter

Thanks, Chris. I found it, but have to load the whole theme. Is there a tool in the admin panel of my site, which allows for the update to be applied by the push of a button? I do not seem to see one, in fact, whene I go to Themes under my site’s admin panel, the Newsmag theme does not say it has been updated.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi, thanks, but this does not seem to be the case. I am logged into themeforest.net and the only option I have is to buy the theme. There is no option to download it (or an update) for free, given that I have already purchased the previous version a few months back.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Peter

Actually the problem only appears on the homepage. The categories display the desired number of articles as set in the admin panel. Please help for the homepage.

Thanks,
Peter
