The code has changed. Previously it was:

‘show_child_cat’ => 5

Now it is

‘show_child_cat’ => $td_render_atts[‘show_child_cat’],

So where there was a number, now there is a code. Do I just overwrite the code with a number?

Looks like this has changed with the new update. Where can I adjust this setting now?

Hmm- not quite what I had in mind. Is there a way to show the headline, image and except in a 2 or 3 column layout with a horizontal sorting instead of vertical sorting?

We serve ads that are tracked and part of campaigns such as site takeovers where clients book, say, 200000 impressions of leaderboard, sidebar and background ads together.

Using the theme’s built-in wallpaper solution, there is no way to track and report this. It’s like saying why I don’t put a picture with a link in the sidebar instead of using proper banner code.

Using DFP’s background code in your theme, I just cannot get backgrounds to show up.

Can’t these two things be enabled as part of a theme- i.e, have a switch for borders and a slider to increase/decrease the overall width (or add/remove columns off a grid).

I’m no developer so I don’t know if what I’m suggesting above is possible or not but would like to know if it is.

Would you say it would be a better idea to just move to Newspaper instead of sticking with NewsMag?

Or will the features between the two play ping-pong?

Honestly, I don’t see why you have two themes that are just SO close to each other. Wouldn’t it be better for you (as developers) to focus all your energy on one theme instead? I mean, I can understand if the two themes were vastly different, but I just see them as twins separated at birth, for the lack of a better comparison.

Ok- maybe it’s a geo ad that’s not showing up for you but in the sidebar I have a 300×250 ad. If that ad is flash, it sticks to the left margin. If it’s jpg, it’s size expands to fill the entire container. I would like to make sure that the add doesn’t exceed the 300 pixels width and is centered.

Yes- it seems to be working. Maybe I was just loading from cache before. Thanks for your help. Just one last question- how can I centre these ads? They’re left aligned.

Is it crucial to update or can we use the “old” 1.7.1 and wait until the next version comes along to update?

With just a plan div, the ad doesn’t show up on mobiles

I got one too. I’ve already updated and had to fix a few things to get it working so if there is a newer version, can you please list the files that were updated between the old 1.7.1 and the new 1.7.1

Hmm- that’s not it. I’ve disabled the plugin but still see the blank screen. Also, the site with all the plugins was working fine before updating the theme.
