Apologies for bringing this back up, but the issues have not been resolved.

I disabled all plugins, including caching and it does not seem to fix the issue. I would really appreciate some guidance or troubleshooting help. I will also send you guys an email with credentials to login and take a look yourselves. Please let beforehand so I can tell you which hours are good.

Thank you everyone for your replies.

I updated to the latest version of WordPress and the latest update of Newsmug. I then uninstalled wp-rocket and installed super cache. Everything is working fine.

Once again thank you for your answers.

I have updated WordPress and Newsmag theme to their latest versions. I disabled wp-rocket and replaced it with wp-super-cache (using your recommended settings) and indeed the problem I described with the scrolling was resolved. HOWEVER, when testing cache through the plugin I get the message “The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!” which usually means cache is not working. I run google page speed an my results were good (lower than when using wp-rocket, but still ok. Desktop score is 80 and mobile score is 66). I am not sure whether caching works or not right now. Any advice on how to make sure?

Thanks for the quick response!

Actually what you told me feels like a dagger in my chest 🙂 I have had serious problems with WP-Super-Cache and W3-Total-Cache (not theme related. They were just not caching) with load average reaching 30 when I had more than 1000 connected users. WP-Rocket solved my caching issues but apparently created this one. Is there nothing else I can do? Disabling the plugin does not seem like an option right now, unless I resolve my WP-Super-Cache issues.

Ignore my gut saying this is probably a visual compose issue. I disabled it and the theme panel still runs really slow. The homepage doesn’t contain anything right now so the slow load may not be that visible, but when you log in to the them panel, it is terribly slow.

I tried the change you suggested, but still get the light blue line on the top. This is really weird! Please note the light blue line only appears when loading!

Any other suggestions?

Sorry to write in a topic that is old but i also have a question regarding instagram

Embedding imstagram photos does not mess up my website, but the photos apear blank. I can see the description, hashtags, account its coming from, but the image does not load.

Please note i have tried embedding both with and without lazyloader and none of them works.

That is exactly what i mean. I place ads in the themevpanel, save and they show ok. If I then make any change in my homepage, the dissapear.

The code I placed in Ad Manager dissappeared a couple of times. I think both times, It happened after I have made changes on Homepage, but I am not sure that it had anything to do with the Ads dissappearing.
