Alright, I will take a look at some of that stuff. Thanks!
I went to check my plugins and every single one of them was “deactivated due to an error.” What could this possibly mean?
I will definitely take up the issue with Google and see what they say. Sorry for bothering you about this. I’m never sure who to ask these questions to.
I’m very confused. I was using the mobile theme plugin for the past month and it still showed the content from my homepage along with recent posts and other widgets.
Are you saying that the intended behavior for the mobile theme is not to display the content from the homepage and merely to show the latest posts?
Also, I already have Version 7.3. I use Envato Marketplace. I believe that is the most recent version of the theme. Why would I download it again?
Alright, so you are telling me to delete the current Newspaper theme, download a new Newspaper theme, and that it will work properly. If I do that will I lose all of the settings I have such as all of the fonts, the colors, the custom CSS, and all of that? I’m pretty sure I would lose all of that. But I can’t lose all of that stuff. Took me way too long to get right. How do I go about using the newly downloaded Newspaper theme without losing all of my hard work?
I actually removed them in order to optimize them and make them smaller. When they were there they still weren’t showing. I’ll let you know when they are back up so we can figure it out.
The website is http://www.mentalhealthsuggestions.com. Just go to the homepage on a cellular device and you will see that the picture for the image “How Mental Illness Changed My Politics” is not showing up.
I realize this. What I am saying is that when I am making changes in the mobile theme setting nothing is happening. I set everything to yellow and nothing changed.
Thank you for the quick response.
I am not very skilled with CSS. Which file should I attach this code into? Should I put it in Stylesheet or in Visual Editor Stylesheet? Also, does it matter where exactly I put it inside the code? Thanks.
It looks like someone came in and fixed the problem for me, but nobody told me how the problem was fixed so I still don’t understand how to prevent this from happening in the future.
Sure thing. I will have to go back over to my mom’s house but I will get you some screen shots in a few days.
When I inspected the element, it told me it is using 300px by 169 px. But I don’t know how to change it and get it to use the correct one.
Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me. It is a full sized image at 1920 by 1080. I can’t find anywhere on the back end of my site that says “attachment display settings” like there was in your screenshot. There is a page that says attachment details and it has the image listed at the appropriate size- 1920 by 1080. I can’t understand why it is doing this for the life of me.
Thank you. This solved my problem although I don’t think the theme’s behavior makes any sense.
