Okay I understand. Actually I the perfect theme for me would be newspaper with the same width as Newsmag. I would prefer a total white background with no borders. Also one thing I don’t like with Newsmag is that the feature image extends over the width of the content. When you update, are you going to change that?

Yes!

I implemented the code you wrote in another thread!

This works for me 🙂

Thanks

Yes I am a Mac user!

Yes, the problem only occurs in safari for some reason!

The news ticker is now on the site so you can see the problem for yourself.

I updated the theme through FTP yes.

I have also tried deactivating all plugins and the issue is still happening…

Thanks!

Okay I will look into that!

Thank you Chris!

Okay thank you!

I have implemented everything in your optimization post now.

I have also minified the css files. Now my page speed is 82, but I guess Google Adsense is causing a lot most of the problems in terms of page speed.

Two questions: How can I minify the HTML and compress this image images/icons/newsmag.svg?

I would also like to exchange Roboto Condensed to the font I am using, Lato. I don’t want the theme to fetch Roboto Condensed from fonts.googleapis.com.

Thanks for the feedback!

The problem is in the file called td_block_template_1.

Apparently it is rendering a white color for the default blocks with @header_color;

I have no idea how to change that color. For now I just exchanged @header_color; to #000000; which seems to work.

Hi,

The CSS code doesn’t work!

My settings are on default, but somehow this code: .td_uid_12_55158e6f3cff7_rand .td_module_wrap:hover .entry-title a, .td_uid_12_55158e6f3cff7_rand .td-load-more-wrap a:hover { color: #ffffff; } is changing the button color to white when you hover on them…

I have tried making the changes through CSS but with no effect. Also tried deactivating caching, but nothing happens!

I would love to find this code and remove it completely: .td_uid_12_55158e6f3cff7_rand .td_module_wrap:hover .entry-title a, .td_uid_12_55158e6f3cff7_rand .td-load-more-wrap a:hover

Thanks

It took some time until the changes went through. Its working now!

Thanks

Hi,

Have you changed this for the new theme upgrade? It doesn’t work now to change the font-family and link color for the visual post editor in type.less file.

Thanks

I also have this problem! The new visual composer plugin uses too much memory.

Carllauren

Thank you Lucian!

I discovered the problem!
When deactivating the option to show the post count in posts, the theme also deactivated the 7 day post count.

Maybe you can change that in a future upgrade?

Carllauren

The strange thing is that I only have the the field called post_views_count.

There are no field named post_views_count_7_day_total.

Something must be wrong with my theme?

Thank you

Ok Great! Yes I believe I have the latest version of the theme.

The strange thing is that even if I disable Total Cache, the 7 day post sorting in the sidebar module is not updating. it’s very strange, since it used to work flawlessly, when I first installed the theme.

Thank you

I have emptied the cache multiple times, nothing happens. I am sure its not working since it’s only showing old posts which I know is not the most visited.

I have tried deactivating wp total cache with no results.

I am however using the speed booster plugin, could that be the source of the problem?

Thanks for the support!

Hi,

No actually I haven’t solved this problem yet. You have to press the arrows < > on the slider in Safari to discover the problem.

Thanks

Thanks for the response,

I need it because my content width is 570px. I need to fill the space between the sidebar and the content with something. This is my website: http://www.designworld.se. I currently have a 3 column layout and would like to keep it that way.

Hope this is possible, otherwise I can’t migrate the site.
