Hi,
Thanks for your reply. My site is https://windowsinsider.ro. I eventually managed to customize it to my preferences on my own through several CSS customizations. This thread can be marked as closed/solved.
Also, to find the Mobile Theme, you need to download the theme package from ThemeForest, and then unpack it to a folder. Inside that folder you will find another folder called “plugins”.
The mobile theme is to be installed as a plugin from that folder. You will want to install and activate in WordPress the “td-mobile-plugin”.
Please unpack the theme to a folder after you download NewsPaper from ThemeForest. You will find a folder called “code”.
Inside that folder you will find another folder, called “Newspaper-child”. Upload that via FTP or from CPanel to your theme folder. Then go to Themes in WordPress and activate your desired child theme.
There is no need to activate any plugins included with the theme. All included plugins are licensed to the developers and sublicensed to you if you use them with the theme. Any new versions of the plugins will be provided in the theme package whenever the theme is updated on ThemeForest. There is no scam involved.
Thank you for your reply. I totally understand the challenges because I tried to make changes on my own and I am aware of the difficulties.
How about a creating and launching a new theme with a wider content area? I am more than willing to pay a premium price for something like that and your team’s high quality work gained my trust for good. Maybe you can start the new theme development as a crowd-funded project, I am ready to support with periodical donations during development and then buy a copy of the theme when it’s published.

Apologies, it’s not a widget, it’s a block. You were correct.
A widget. Some people (myself included) had trouble upgrading, the best method is uploading the new theme version fully via FTP to the server. Then you should be able to find the widget in the widget panel.
Congratulations. I can’t have enough of this theme 🙂
Please go to the Custom CSS panel of your theme and add the following:
.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full {
min-height: 85px;
line-height: 85px;
}
You can play with the numeric values to adjust the logo header height to you liking.
Hi,
Could you share more details about the website please, such as URL, active plugins, etc. ?
It’s a good practice to you export all theme options from the theme panel to a file you will store in a safe place (I’m syncing them weekly to OneDrive) and save the custom CSS to a cloud file too.
I’m also using a plugin called Widgets exporter, which will export all wodget settings to a file and I’m also using a plugin which emails me a database backup every 4 hours.
With all of the above once set up and running, restoring a crashed or hacked website is fast and easy.
I like your creative approach !
Newspaper is the first theme (in wfl.ro’s 6 years of existence) to last an entire year as the default theme on my site. I was notorious for always changing the website theme in search for something that would fit my needs. You nailed it for me, guys, and I hope your business prospers even more. Good luck and a huge Thank You for your hard work !
Useful, indeed. Thanks. Will follow up if a solid workaround will work for me.
> you have to remove the background image/color or use another implementation to make the top menu full
Can you please explain why bg image/color removal is mandatory for full width bars ?
Can you also suggest a css workaround ? This has worked in the old version. I need a full-width top-bar on the website and removing background is not an option.
Looking forward for a consistent answer.
Many thanks folks.
Hello everyone,
I am running a Windows Enthusiast site which also hosts my podcast. Please feel free to comment and share your feedback: http://www.windowsfaralimite.ro
Thanks,
Thank you for your very hard work. Have a nice weekend !
Any news on the patch ? Was it sent to Envato ?
Also no MailChimp ?
Hello TagDiv,
I would like to know as well if this will be an option in the next update. Black block title backrounds should be the same with theme’s accent color or even better, have a separate setting in theme color options. Also, if there is an option to set the color in the widget, please make sure a color picker is available.
Thanks
So nothing was actually fixed in the first update sent by Envato ?
I really appreciate your hard work guys, and I want to volunteer in promoting your theme in my online communities.
However the layout and unique homepage post fixes must be provided as soon as … yesterday.
I am sorry about how all this has hapenned, it was kind of disappointing, given the large number of new features and the excellent overall theme performance.
Now I got a site with a very ugly homepage and several internal top grid layouts which are not working properly and are not responsive…
I can confirm the same.
Me too, this is very bad for our site …
I can confirm this. Any solutions ?
+1 on this: Podcaster here 🙂
Also, +1 on SoundCloud support !
Thanks !
