jpugatch,
I had a similar issue where I needed to post external links in a widget on the homepage. After discovering that the TagDiv Composer had no widgets for the native WordPress Links feature (AKA Blogroll), I found a workaround by using the “Page Links To” plugin. It simply turns regular posts into a hyperlink. So, I just tagged all of my link/posts as “Links” and created a post widget on the homepage to filter only by posts with the “Links” tag. Hope this works for you, too!
Cheers!
This problem appears to have been caused by updating Jetpack to version 7.3 before updating WordPress to version 5.2. After updating WordPress to version 5.2 the issue went away.
Wow, so if I used 3 different styles of Smartlists with the old template – sometimes ascending, sometime descending – I’d have to create 6 individual Cloud Library Smart List templates to replace that functionality?
What about the smooth-scrolling action from Smartlists 1 (and 3):

Is this replicated in the Cloud Library Smart List templates?
Adding “channel/” before the channel ID fixed the issue instantly, thank you!
The channel id is correct and it’s public:

Okay, so I clicked “Edit Template” on that post and changed the “Single Post Content” box to a “Single Post Smartlist” box:

While that worked to change the post from a regular article into a smart list, it also made every other post with H3 tags into a smart list:

I think I’m going to need a separate Cloud Library Template, not only for Smart Lists, but one for each style of Smart List that I use – is this correct?
Also, the Cloud Library “Single Post Smartlist” box doesn’t seem to have a smooth scrolling action for the list items like the regular templates do:

Is there a trick to enabling that?
Wait, so I need to use a separate Cloud Library Smart List template for the whole article and CANNOT just enable smart list functionality from within the Post Editor if my default article template is from the Cloud Library?
Sure, it’s in the top right-hand sidebar on this homepage: https://www.gravedecay.com/
I don’t understand. This is how Smart Lists worked prior to the new Cloud Library plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/. Does this no longer work?
Also, if I modify my Cloud Library template from Single Post Content to Single Post Smartlist like you suggest in the bottom two screenshots, won’t it change all of my articles to Smart Lists?
My subscriber count is set to be shown, however, it doesn’t appear IN the Subscriber Button on the channel homepage (like in your example), but rather under the channel name. It does appear IN the Subscriber Button on individual video pages though.
I’m also experiencing the YouTube subscriber count issue – it shows 0, but subscriber count is actually 12.
This article is using Post Template Style 12 with Smart List 1 enabled:

This is a similar article with a Custom Post Template from the Cloud Library plugin, also with Smart List 1 enabled:

Smart List are not functioning properly in Custom Templates for me either.
I’m also having an issue with the infinite load & sticky sidebars – when combined, only the initial post’s sidebar is sticky.
PS – As for the timing issues, I think just having it begin loading the next post at the end of the Content Body rather than the end of the entire page would help a ton.
