Hi Calin,
This issue has been resolved.
I suspect there was something in the Delay Javascript for optimizing pages. I turned this off for the site and played a little more with the setting for General & Triggers (with lots of hard page reloads) and it now triggers correctly.
Thanks,
Mick
Hi Calin,
I think I have not been clear about the issue.
The TagDiv button trigger event is not working. Whether I try to load a Page or a Modal Window (Page) using the Button – Trigger event, it does not load.
Whether I am logged in or not, the Button returns https://www.hrheadquarters.ie/# and loads the home page again.
The page it should load into a Modal window is: https://www.hrheadquarters.ie/advertise-with-us/
When I use developer tools in the browser, inspect element shows me:
element.style {
display: none;
}
The homepage (https://hrheadquarters.ie) has an Advertise with Us button this should open the Advertising page but does nothing it points to https://hrheadquarters.ie/# and not the target page:
Modal Popup: Unique Id is set
General
Source: Page
Content Load: Delayed or Preload
Page ID: set
Triggers
Enabled: set
Button Text: set
Theme: TagDiv 12.7.4
Environment: WordPress 6.8.3
PHP: 8.2.3
The Form was a separate issue that has been resolved. Forminator is no an issue with the
Thanks,
Mick
Hi Calin,
The Button (Advertise with Us) should load a modal window/page with a form. No Ads in this. I have also added this page (non-modal) to the Menu in the Footer – this displays without issue.
I am also noticing that the Social sharing icons have disappeared from Posts – they are present but invisible.
I have checked this in an Ingocnito browser. Checked with Chrome and Safari.
Is there a list of TD JS/CSS files that should be prioritised at Page load time? Or some that should be excluded from Delayed JS loading?
Thanks,
Mick
Hi,
I have resolved 1 piece of the problem.
The Button issue is still a problem – the Button is not triggering the event to display the modal window..
The Forms issue is resolved: this was resolved by Excluding the Forminator plugins from Delayed JavaScript loading.
All the best,
Mick
Hi Calin,
I have managed to resolve this issue. It was caused by a Caching Plugin and the compression/merging of JavaScript files.
By deactivating the plugin, the site rendered correctly.
I then reactivated the plugin and excluded all JQuery files from compression/merging – this resolved the issue.
Thanks,
Mick

Hi Calin,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The Links page is created using the TagDiv Composer. It page inherits the Header and Footer from the Newspaper Theme.
In mobile Chrome and Safari the menu and logo work properly – no layout shifting.
In the Instagram mobile app (iPhone & Android) the layout shifts, moving the Logo over the menu. The layout shift moves the content of the page up and stops the user selecting the most recent article.

Does anyone know where the TagDiv settings are stored – settings for the Theme Panel. I would like to try to recover these from backup. Cannot find them in the database so wondered if they are stored elsewhere?
After this update and rollback I need to completely rebuild my pages and posts. This is a complete disaster.
I have the same problem after update – All TagDiv elements are broken.
It also Un-registered my license which was a nightmare to try to resolve.
After attempting to fix this issue my instance of tagDiv now appears to be corrupt. TD Composer is behaving strangely.
I can no longer attempt to update the Theme to the new 12.5.1 as it requests FTP access. My site’s FTP is locked to specific FTP and is not accessible from external locations.
The td_composer folder now insists on being ‘_td_composer’ and is impossible to change back to ‘td_composer’.
Please assist me in resolving these issues.
thanks Calin will try that
Thank you
thanks Bettina, is there any way to change the vertical alignment of the image without using flex blocks?
Thanks…please see attached,if you notice the images for “The intervew series” the full image belonging to the post sites not display. The images seem to crop and as a result our sponsors logo is not seen
Hi Bettina, thanks
Just checked, no code there….
Thanks Calin
Someone set this up for me so unsure if still there but I cannot find.
When button is clicked there are no errors, just nothing happens.
Is there a way you would reccommend to acheive what I am trying to do?
Thanks
thank you so much Anamaria, sorry I am a complete rookie, where do see the code for inline ads in the post template?
thanks again
Hi Anamaria
Thanks for your reply – I do not want to use this area I want the website not to use it, effectively I want the site thinner/less wide, not to stretch it into those spaces. I want to remove them, is this possible?
Is there a way to have a fixed witdth to the newspaper theme that I can select?
Thanks
Declan
sorry Calin I appreciate my link was unclear
It is the white space where I have put the black pen marks on this image both side of content – I want to minimise this as putting a homepage takeover advert in background that this extra space partially obscures

thanks Calin, I’ve linked now, it is the extra space to each side of the content I want to minimise

..sorry should have said, newspaper theme
Can you try the site on an actual mobile phone and you will see that it does not show like that.
The visual you showed me would be perfect but it is not how the site is displaying on actual mobile phones.
Again I have made this clear twice already.
If you reduce the desktop screen size then you see the site perfectly for mobile BUT IF YOU ACTUALLY VIEW IT ON A REAL PHONE, it does not display correctly.
I am happy with the mobile version if it actually worked on mobile can you have a look at the site and then on a mobile and you will see where the issue is. I explained this in my first comment.
AGAIN: If you view the SITE on desktop, then reduce the Screen size in your browser you see the site as we want it to be seen on mobile!!!!!!
BUT: if you go on a MOBILE PHONE and check the site, then you do not get the same experience.
Why is this query been ignored?
