Well I believe what I said above to be true, I am still finding the mobile menu in the mobile header to remain blank… it does not save it’s settings when you edit it.
I think what may be happening is that the responsive page has a mobile menu as well as the mobile page has a mobile menu. If you don’t have a mobile version of every template on the site then the mobile menu from the responsive page shows up.
I think you need to set the mobile menu in both places just incase.
I’m seeing the same issue I think. I have a mobile header with a mobile menu and no matter how many times I save the menu it comes up unset (blank) when viewing the site.
Hi I’m still seeing the odd issue with this, I think related to my Litespeed cache combine/minify css/js. Can you point me in the right direction to exclude the right file or files from caching?
thanks
Thanks Calin this is what I was looking.
cheers
Brad.
Updating the Newspaper theme from 10.3 to 10.3.1 seems to have fixed the issues. The header in general seems to be loading more smoothly.
Hi I’m seeing a similar issue. I recently used the Header Manager to update my mobile menu and now I’m seeing this odd behavior on just about every page load. The animation happens quickly but I was able to grab a screenshot: https://snipboard.io/dGsOl5.jpg
Hi thanks for your help with this.

Hi Calin, thanks for your response.
I’ve created tagdiv cloud template for my category pages and I would like to set the color of the title on the pages based on the category. My hope is I can do this through css and not have to create a separate template for every category.
Brad.
Hi Simion
In your example above the screen grabs are no longer available but I think this is what I am after, can you please confirm.
Can I depend on the id highlighted in this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/X5KwxV.jpg to apply style only to a specific category?
What I would like to do is to set the color of the page title based on category.
thanks
Hi I’ve made some progress with this by going away from the Child Theme.
The breadcrumbs look off though https://snipboard.io/do9LUA.jpg and do not look like they are respecting the settings in the Theme Panel: https://snipboard.io/ucJxpg.jpg
Any thoughts?
thanks
Hi, related to the above is there a way to set a Category Template for a CPT? Sorry just not seeing it.
thanks
Hi thanks for your support.
I should note I am on newspaper 10.3 and I am not using the Standard Pack.
I installed the Books CPT and created a post. When I view the post I am not seeing the breadcrumbs, sidebar, genre, or authors.

The Directory Plugin I’m using has an option to set the category page (which I’m choosing to do with the above page template) I have tried not using the page template as well and I get poor results as well.
Thanks.
Hi the link above does not help as I feel I have set everything there correctly already, but would be happy for you to review in case I’m missing something.

Thanks for your help.
Sorry just re-reading this and I see that you indicate above the “notices” shouldn’t be a problem.
Hi I’ve upgraded to NewsPaper 10.3 and I am seeing some issues with MEC Calendar again. I’ve deleted my “evens” page and I am using their archive page “events” and I am seeing these errors:
Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in /home/ulusolut/island3/staging/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 408
Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in /home/ulusolut/island3/staging/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 415

Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in /home/ulusolut/island3/staging/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 415
Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
thanks
Brad.

Hi I have also deactivated all plugins, turned caching off, and moved away from the child theme to the main theme and the problem still persist for me. I can download a footer template but as soon as I go away from it and come back in to work on it I get the model/dom error.
I get the same error!
I found the problem it was an issue on my side.
Hi there, I have posts where the image shows on desktop but not on mobile. Was there any resolution to this? Thanks.
Seeing now that if you click on the title you get down to the article but every other widget goes straight to the article everywhere you click… Is there a way to alter the slider to make that happen?
Thank you very much for your help. This explains the odd behaviour I was seeing.
Brad.
I’am seeing this in my error log:
[10-Jul-2019 05:26:23 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined property: WP_Post_Type::$post_type in .../wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 397

Hi thanks for looking into this.
I created a page Events2 and added the short code much as you have described above and it worked fine. I have deleted and the original “Events” page and removed it from the trash. I then edited the Events2 page to change the Title to “Events” and the slug to “events” and the errors return. I have reverted back to “Events2” for the page title and slug and I get this warning “The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!”
It seems I can’t have a page with the title/Slug Events/events…
I should note that I am trying to make this page part of the menu. I’m not sure if that adds a layer to this.
Brad.
