Could you direct me to the part of the theme code that populates this section? I’m thinking maybe somehow the first author of the post is getting selected, instead of the author set in the final revision. That explanation matches the symptoms perfectly in my case. If you can tell me what file to look in, I’ll dig into it further myself.

Hi Simion, you hit on a post from an author who’s being featured now (many recent posts are his).

Check this specific URL. If you click on the author, you’ll see this author has only a single post. However, “meer van deze auteur” (more from this author) shows other posts.
The section “meer van deze auteur” seems to be displaying the most recent posts by ascending order of age, not filtering on author at all.

Belay that, it’s happening again. I’m not changing anything on the backend here. Please investigate 🙂

Never mind, solved now. Probably due to WP upgrade, some sync which went haywire. I didn’t change anything and it works fine again so I’m assuming it has been solved behind the screens.

There’s an issue with the code, there’s replacement code on the forum somewhere. tagDiv, maybe you should make a sticky post, this question is here every time I come to the forum.

Simojas, with all due respect, the theme is not to blame. It works for thousands of websites… It works for me. There’s an issue on your end.

Perhaps if you request assistance in a friendly and respectful fashion, you’ll have a bigger chance of getting support from the community.

Did you get this solved? I have the same issue. I have Yoast SEO but even when disabled, the problem doesn’t go away.

Just to confirm: indeed the social counter widget doesn’t work for Instagram on my part either.
