Thank you Bogdan. I actually found a thread where i had asked this question a few yrs back. I found my answer but it doesn’t really work now. Im guessing due to many code changes made since 2013 on theme. I was able to place a PNG image however the white arrow still overlapped the image and the square did not go away. Basically my image was sort of framed in front of the button.

Update… I’m still getting use to this Mobile Theme settings and just realized that it has its own Mobil Editor for pages/post. When I insert the shortcode there, it is now working as expected. so looks like its good now 🙂

Thank you Andrei for the explanation! So to understand more clearly, shortcodes added in page content do not render for any plugins and for Newspaper theme shortcodes too? Or just for shortcodes outside of the Newspaper theme? And does the same hold truth for shortcodes in posts?

Hi I have gone forward and added Viral Press to Newspaper theme and everything looks to be working pretty well. The only issue I see is that when I turn on mobile theme, the shortcode used under the “Submit Page” for ViralPress used in creating posts seems to not be compatible. I dont see anything when going to the page on mobile devices. However it works find if mobile theme is disabled and just going to mobile devices and letting it utilze the responsive layout. Any thoughts you may be able to provide on this?

I have created a login account for tagdiv for login if needed.

Hi Bogdan, this seems to be happening when you are actually in a mobile device using safari browser from iPhone, and not a desktop browser and attempt to scroll down having the menu open. In my case from the homepage as in this link again: http://www.screencast.com/t/IadWYUFv

Thank you Catalin. Looks like the issue is related to plugin Social Login, Social Sharing by miniOrange, specifically when the settings of “Set Display Picture for User” is checked. Otherwise its working fine unchecked or once its disabled. Thanks!

I am using WP User Avatar but this has stopped working and I have not added no additional plugins from when it worked to when it stopped working. This is strange or can it a be a compatibility issue now with wordpress 4.4.1? Even the comments section stopped displaying the author’s picture.

Ah excellent! I just realized your first message listed for top and I was trying to hide inline 🙂 works now. Thank you Alin. Do you recommend any plugin that allows for me to insert CSS directly when creating a post compatible with your theme? No biggie just a thought.

Hi Lucian,

Yes this issue is as well present in your demo site in iPads. When I try to click on the “Tech” link which should take me to (demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/tech/phones/) it does not work. It only displays the mega menu below it. The same is true for menu titles Lifestyle, Travel guides, and video. Others I see have the “#” assigned which would link to nowhere.

Hello rparlier, just a quick heads up unless this has changed to my knowledge but the updates for VC are provided by tagdiv in their theme updates. There should be one coming soon I hope :).
