Hi, TagDiv Cpomposer is great. I used it for some time but it wasn’t working the way Visual Composer does, which is super fluent and easy.
I would suggest for you to try Visual composer instead.

If you still want to go with TagDiv composer, then try deactivating all other plugins, and then try and see is the blank page still there.
(ps. I prefer back-end so VC wins for me)

PHP 7.1 problems:
Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /srv/users/......./public/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_block.php on line 997

When I turn related articles off, then it is ok.

I had similar errors on VC blocks. But that was easy to fix. Just delete the block>save/update>add the block again.
Result: all good
I’ll downgrade to 7.0 for now just in case.

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion.
I already adjusted my firefox with simple addon Go Mobile

All that I need now is to click 1 button.

Resolution issues with logo in mobile phones vertical view is fixed (at least for my logo) with this css
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height: 47px;

Now only the image optimization problem persist. Not that its critical, but google score is terrible, and it is very important how Google sees your page.

Thank you

Hi,

plugin activation was successful. Issue – unknown. After deactivation of all plugin, I enabled mobile theme plugin. After that I enabled all the other plugins 1 by 1. There were no errors.
The general solution is to deactivate all plugins, activate the mobile theme plugin and then activate all the other plugins.
bye

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in …/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/Mobile_Detect.php on line 28

This happened after upgrading from v6.x to latest v7.x.
Atm it seems that everything is working except mobile theme, and the main logo disappeared.

I will try to replicate issue(s) building everything from scratch and report here.

Hi Bogdan,

thank you for the solution. I did just what you said. I defined new thumbnail size in td_config.php.
Then I changed it in td_module_10.php file. Then I regenerated thumbnails. The result: blank (no thumbnails) space.

Maybe I missed something. Can you please paste here 1-2-3 steps on how to do it so it works?

I want module 10 to have thumbnail size 280×173.

Thanks

Hey, this is very helpfull and with this examples you’ve provided I belive I will be fine on my own tuning everything to my desire. I have all css classes I need.
Thanks for all the help.

Hey, thank you for help.
Yes basicly I wanna make it look similar to this: http://prntscr.com/9hmdm7
http://goo.gl/P9MvtZ

You see how every element/block have its own ‘white space’ container, slightly rounded corners and bottom (i think) 1px shadow. Very elegant.

Even better example here http://goo.gl/MsYZZE …every little block is in its own white container while there is grey lines from the background between them.

So you turned it off and still issues? pfff

Well I just like it too much to turn it off. Page seems faster with it.
I have before post share buttons and after. So when I try few times the upper buttons and they don’t work, I switch to bottom ones and it works 🙂 – or vice versa.

Yep. Imagine how I was feeling all this time not knowing this option exists. 🙂
However I have superhuge conecerns. I am transfering on Inmotion vps from some shared hosting. Which is actually super great. But RAM usage is every now and then going alot over 300mb so it could be the time to go for vps, which I need to learn how to optimize it more for speed and security.

However I forgot to say that sometimes I need to scroll down to load full page before I share the post to facebook, since everything is on lazy load. Maybe this also bothers facebook. But I really don’t feel like disabling this just to test it out.

Update: I will fix what fb said.

btw I have found this ”refresh attachment” option.
It remove itself on timeline, but if you go to post page, you can find it again.

kompic
tagDiv Member

Refresh attachment option is not there.
However i found this issues:

Meta with name instead of property – The meta tag on the page was specified with name ‘author’, which matches a configured property of this object type. It will be ignored unless specified with the meta property attribute instead of the meta name attribute.

og:image could not be downloaded or is too small :
og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. etc etc
———————
Featured image is big. So this cant be issue. The meta name vs meta property I do not understand.

I also found this:

fb:admins and fb:app_id tags are missing. These tags are necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high click-through rate.

If you say it works then it is probably something on my end (cdn configuration). I will look into it and report here later when I find out more. (Even now I think that I know what is the problem – probably the part where my cdn configuration ignores original headers. I’ll set it up not to ignore it) 🙂

If you want demo to be just like you saw on tagdiv demo website, then YES, you should turn that option ON.

I am not support, I am regular user like you.
They do not work on weekends, read this http://prntscr.com/97xl32

Hey, I missed that. So if I understand you have post with video as featured image?

Have you tried this http://prntscr.com/97oyjn

kompic

You should update all plugins too, including visual composer. Then see if it all works.

If you are using caching plugin like wp super cache, or w3 total cache, or wp fastest cache, or any other plugin, make sure to clear the cache after you publish a post or page. Or configure it to that itself when you publish something. Or just deactivate caching plugin.

Hi, after you install your theme, go to the dashboard > theme panel > install demos
Like you see in picture here : http://prntscr.com/97oglh

Or just read the theme documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/

Hello, I had this ‘thing’ forever, from start, when I changed the color in first place. The color that load first is black which lasts for less then half a second, and then it shows the right one.

The main reason for this are plugins similar to Speedbooster. When you send stuff to footer because you want your website to start rendering faster, then the css that shows other color then black in top menu bar is loaded after the default color.

So if you do not want this to happen then just deactivate or modify plugins similar to speedbooster.

For example you can even send the main css style from the theme to the footer. In this case your website will look broken for 200-300 ms.

After you make all this that I wrote, make sure to clear cache if you use caching plugin, or CDN.

Cheers

Hi, just to pop in and suggest you to optimize gif before uploading it.
16mb size gif is ultra heavy for any website, and you should avoid uploading that big files.

But if you really have to use it on your website, try some online gif optimization tools.
Like http://ezgif.com/optimize
or http://gifgifs.com/optimizer/

Or maybe upload it on your dropbox or gdrive in public folder and embed its link on your website to stream it, which better then to host such a big file.

Cheers

Hey. It does not have front-end. Only backend editor. At least this one that comes within theme.

From expirience I can tell you that backend visual composer editor is much better and much more precise then frontend. You will see that it is much easier to edit things in backend.
I have multiple themes that came with visual composer, and I have visual composer alone purchased from envato, and whenever I do stuff with it I do it in backend.
