I’ve checked and looked at all the speed stuff.
This is directly related to TOP ARTICLE SHARING enabled.
I would imagine one of your programmers might be able to tell me why. It runs much faster now right?
K, I think I know where it comes from. It comes from installing a demo.
My web host said it was because of this and I’ve seen this mentioned before. Is there a thread on this?
The page at ‘https://www.insaynemtg.com/the-pilot-episode/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://192.168.0.208/wp_011_test_demos/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/4.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
I’ve tried a few things. The site is brand new, doesn’t have many plugins outside of the tagdiv ones.

Everything loads fast, even JetPack’s sharing buttons. It’s just the Newspaper share buttons that are always “Connecting…” and taking time to load. I might just remove them unless you guys have a good idea what might be the cause.
Catalin, I’m undergoing the same thing. I’m curious if there’s something you guys could do on your end to make it less slow in future updates or is it solely up to us to make it faster?
Vlad, so they don’t come with all the Google fonts? I might have to add some individually?
K, Vlad, so it’s not just my computer, you see it too?
I just updated it to 9.2.2. Seems like the issue is still there.
Is there another fix needed?
Simion,
Shortcodes in column text. If I do the same thing on a page, it seems to add

Code is exactly the same, if I inspect elements in browser. A

gets added when not a page.

Hey Simion, is there still no way to replicate something that https://ca.ign.com/ has? Just better spacing between the elements when it’s Big Grid 9?
If not, can this be a feature request? Lots of us think the default have the images too tightly.
What’s a loop element? A normal block isn’t?
Good news, turns out the issue with me was fixed when GoDaddy just restarted the server.
I just want confirmation that there’s bugs and it’s not just me. Site is just running super slow. Going to try deactivating plugins now to see if it changes.

The updates have made the site REALLY slow.
Hey Simion you’re the best. Is it just better to work in %s for mobile? Trying to learn. =D
Catalin, does it matter what the size is then? There’s a recommended size it seems.
Can we get an update on this?
Thakksy, did you get the error?
Editing the .htaccess did help the problem though my site still feels super sluggish.
Turns out this was the fix. I still don’t understand why.
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M

I had decided to disable basically all plugins besides the TagDiv Composer one.
Is this actually the way this is done on some of the demos?
For instance, on one of the new demos: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_coffee
Is Yoast SEO being used to modify the title of this Home page?
I upgraded to GoDaddy business hosting and no longer have issues.
Something to keep in mind.

I recently did a migration to the GoDaddy host so I think it’s two things. Either A) GoDaddy is REALLY that bad or B) my database is corrupted during export/import so that maybe it’s sending queries that can never resolve (is that even possible?).
But I’ve had other plugins tell me my DB is OK, so A is more likely?
Chris, if I have tagDiv Composer, can I just delete WPBakery Page Builder? Thanks!
If I switch themes, things don’t go crazy.
Although I agree with you that it might be because the hosting I have can’t handle the theme.
