Thanks, no child theme.
I’ll speak with support about the memory.
For now, I’m just going to remain with the previous version which suited my needs fine.
Thank you.
That is the exact guide I read through prior to my first attempt. I read it again.
I carefully followed the directions, updating plugins, clearing cache, etc. but still I get a blank page.
I put the old version of Newspaper back and all is well. I’m not sure what else I can do? I will have to remain with the older version or hire TagDiv to update it for me.
Thank you for the effort, but that I knew how to do. The Source link I was referring to is at the bottom of the page and is part of the theme when you credit another source for the content.
I hired a coder and he fixed it pretty easily.
Do appreciate your time and effort, thanks.
Please tell us, as I was about to ask the same question. Thanks.
Disregard, I got it working.
In case anyone else has the same issue, the composer works without issue in Firefox, but in Chrome I still get the same issue. So, obviously I’m using ‘Firefox. Had I checked FF, which I didn’t, I’m guessing it would have worked fine days ago. Live and learn.
email received. Thank you for looking.
Thank you so much for the kind words.
They have not set up my site, I have set it up. I have asked that they fix something that is broken, I did not break it. And for the record, I’m happy to pay support some fee if required.
My concern was not that it has not, as yet, been fixed, it is that they have not updated me at all, which is not good customer service. A simple email saying, “we’re working on it”, or a post here would have been sufficient.
Guys, what about an update??? I’ve sent the email, I’ve asked for an update, but all I get is silence. I love this theme, I’ve even influenced others to buy it, but geez, I’m sitting on my thumbs and can’t move forward. At least let me know the status. Asked with respect, but also running out of patience.
any updates?
Thank you, I have already sent login credentials a couple of days ago.

I’ve installed the latest version of Newspaper and after some issues, got the City Mag Demo installed.
I then wished to edit the categories on the home page, so I chose TD Composer.
It never loads, the loading gif just spins and spins until finally the page says “wait” or “kill”.
Based on your above suggestions, I have deactivated all plugins not relevant to Newspaper and created a new test page, with the same results.
I’ve just now put in a support ticket to ask about server specs and will report back after they look. I’m posting here, prior to that, since, if the server meets specs, I will then send login as mentioned above.
Thanks.
Thanks you, that did it. So many settings, but what a great theme.
Yes, that fixed it, thanks.
Thank you, that worked
However, I now have another problem, which may have been there before and I failed to see it.
If you look at
http://searchtheplanet.com/drmarkdemo/
and hover over Blogs, the mega menu works, but BELOW the thumbnails is a text link to Dr. Mark’s Corner, which I deleted a week or more ago. Then under that, are links to categories that are already linked above.
Currently, my complete list of categories are
Blogs
— Diabetes Education
— Dr Mark
— Exercise
— In The News
— Learn About Your Feet
Quotes
There is NO Dr. Mark’s Corner, although there was one previously. I need to eliminate this disparity. I looked in both Chrome and Firefox. Please advise.
Thank you.
@WalnutHillDesign please keep me posted and I’ll do the same. No solution on my end ATM. Such tweaks are beyond my skills and I’d have to turn to a developer, which I likely can’t afford.
Reading between the lines, are you saying it IS POSSIBLE, but would require custom code from a developer?
I was able to figure it out…. I put my code ABOVE your Instagram code.. The reason for this was, when I turned off the widget, it turned off my pictures also.
I then had an issue getting the pictures to line up.
So I used your class in my DIV…
<div class=”td-main-content-wrap td-footer-instagram-container”>
and it works fine.
Thank you. I’m not a coder, but can do simple PHP text changes. So I edited footer.php and added the images it seems to work okay. Later I will link to a gallery.

One question, and perhaps you can give me the CSS, I left the existing Instagram widget turned ON, for demo only. Notice the small gap in my pictures on the left side of the screen, where the widget has no gap. . I would like to NOT HAVE the gap if possible.
Thank you, works perfectly.
Thanks, I should have read the docs first, I hadn’t even looked. My bad.
All is working fine now, thnaks.
That fixed things, thank you.
Reading on the forum, I disabled all plugins and then the demo installed. However, there was another issue with WPBakery Visual Composer, which I understand is a required plugin. More on that in this thread
